I wouldve rated this higher but the waiter i had was very rude. We mentioned it was my sisters birthday and he not only didnt acknowledge it, but he didnt even wish her a happy birthday. After he took our order he ignored us every time we tried to catch his attention for a refill or any other requests we had. We had to catch other waitresses who were more than happy to serve us. What topped it off was when we were ready to leave he heard me calling him and didnt respond until I had to raise my voice. Than without even turning around he put his finger up saying 1 minute and continued on doing what he was doing. Other than that the food was great, the other waitresses were great, and the male manager was amazing!!! Too bad that 1 waiter made us decide this was our 1st and last time eating here.

My boyfriend and I went there this morning and were very pleased with the food, the atmosphere, and the service. I have not found any places in the area that have stuffed french toast, until I found this place. Two large pieces of french toast stuffed with Toasts special cream cheese and served with syrup, butter, strawberries, and strawberry sauce -- it was delicious and filling. My boyfriend had the multigrain waffle and a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich. He enjoyed both. I tried some of his sandwich and had a hard time putting it down. The place had a coffe house feel and our waiter was super friendly and energetic. The prices were worth it for the quality. We will for sure be going back and hope to take our friends. There is a nice selection of foods to cater to vegans and vegetarians.

I live in the Triangle in North Carolina, so im use to excellent food. For someone from NJ, this place may be as good as it gets for breakfast. If I ever returned Id only order the pancakes or waffles. The omelets were over cooked, they served some dry potatoes with it. I guess they expected me to smother my meal with ketchup (never put ketchup on eggs). No grits on the menu that I could see. I asked the waitress for a recommendation and she froze up, like she didnt eat there and started talking about the "popularity" of a dish or two. She offered no personal opinion. Again the waffles and pancakes are the best option on an over achieving menu.

Surely begins to describe them. Came with road bikes 10 tables outside. Only would seat people with dogs outside. Asked to sit outside with dog people had to talk to three managers. Finally after rolling their eyes they agreed then made us wait for 30 minutes. Food is overpriced and not that great. There are other places in Asbury that arent hipster entitlement attitude run like Americas cup. Even the one in red bank is surely and overpriced. Go to he In Between in Res bank instead.

Came in with family for breakfast. The pancakes were excellent along with the spinach omlette. I ordered eggs benedict. They were a little heavy on the vinegar during poaching and the english muffin was burnt. Other than that things were fine. I should caution you that they charge a 2.5% fee for using your debit/credit card. This was not a pleasant surprise. I have never eaten at a place with an extra charge for debit/credit.

The way service should be. This place has a cafeteria vibe and including the chatter of cups and silverware but the staff were wonderful to us. They took the time to let us know that our breakfast would take a little longer, which warning us ahead time means the world to me! Id go again cause they even made my latte a little sweeter than normal. (literally)

Pretty good food. I went today for a take out order and the girl behind the counter was so rude. If I HAND you money, HAND IT BACK. She puts it back on the tray and slides it to me. Thats why you get NO TIP & I slid it back EMPTY. Courtesy and manners win a tip from me. The girl at the door wasnt too friendly either.

This is hands down my favorite place for breakfast in a 20 mile radius from my house. The food is great, the staff is friendly and nice, and their specials are always amazing. (Bring back the breakfast risotto!!!) Definitely should stop in for breakfast if youre in the area. Peace, love, and pancakes <3

Mediocre at best. Met people for a business meeting and the waitress was not qualified. I ordered the Greek Salad and there was a sprinkling of some kind of non - feta cheese. Apparently she didnt hear one of our guests orders and said "what?" Not excuse me etc. Food was average.

Their coffee drinks are to die for!! Im a bit of a coffee snob and can be particular. Had breakfast here with some of my girlfriends on a girls trip and we all loved the experience. The menu is far from boring. Their Tofu scramble is one of the best Ive had!

A whole lotta hype! I had the toughest french toast in my life! I needed a chisel and hammer to get through it. Eggs were tasteless and didnt seem to be "real". I long line to get in (seeming like it was, "the only game in town"). So not impressed...

Outstanding food, great service. Irish benedict corned beef hash was authentic, huevos rancheros were hearty, with a side of flavorful turmeric tofu. Tea and coffee were premium. Waitress and staff were helpful and quick!

If you arrive to Toast, and theres no wait, then by all means come in and enjoy some pretty good food and okay service. If, on the other hand, theres a long wait: keep walking. There are many equally-good spots nearby.

What a great place to get brunch. Got the French toast with blueberries and it was amazing!! The service here was also amazing and always kept my coffee full. If you are looking for a place for brunch this is it.

I went to Sunday breakfast over MDW and had a great meal. The food was all fresh and very well done. The staff was very good and seemed to work as a team. I definitely recommend Toast! Cant wait to go back!

Food is ok. Cool atmosphere. Every time Ive been there the service is horrible. You get ignored. No apologies for the wait ever! I have set at the bar a couple of times and service was good. Bar recommend.

I highly suggest there crab hash it tastes great and gives your breakfast a jersey shore flair! The place is a bit crowded and the bathrooms are small but the food makes it worth it!

The wait for a party of 4 was an hour! After we were seated, the food was nothing special. Just your run-of-the-mill breakfast food. Their bananas foster was pretty good though.

Great food and atmosphere. Loved the menu choices, too. Not fond of the long wait and lack of waiting area, but once we sat down, it was worth it. Oh, and the staff are great, too!

Always reliable from the start. Good coffee, good people. They have an excellent eggs benedict. Their wraps are also very good. Ive never been disappointed

The best hash Ive ever had. EVER. But if youre hungry, make sure you get there with some time to spare, theres usually a wait. It goes pretty fast though.
