Village Inn on El Paseo Had decent memories years back.. when my Mom and I visited for breakfast.. so I wanted to try the place yesterday morning since my Mom passed away Saturday.. My stomach wasnt up to a meal (a bit stressed).. but a Buscuit and Gravy would be perfect to start the day.. after ordering from a lady waitress a guy with " Big Diamond Earrings In Both Ears " walks up says.. " if we didnt have biscuits what else would you like ?? " I told him my situation (did it matter).. but asked what else is there ?? He gave me a big meal choices.. but didnt I just tell him ??.. WTF anyway.. so I said Nnnaa.. will just have coffee.. so after a minute or two I asked for my check.. he says (sarcastically) " OK " COMES BACK WITH A BUSCUIT AND GRAVY IN A " TO GO CARTON " the ticket had No Charge on the coffee.. Just the cost of the B&G.. So they did have it.. just didnt want to serve it.. but since I was leaving.. " Here You Go " We are talking about big sales or " Sorry We Cant Help You " The B&G sits in my back seat from Yesterday.. I have the urge to return it with vigor the door.. So much for the memories my Mom and I had at that place..

We went for breakfast. I had an omelet and it was fine. My husband ordered eggs , hash browns and bacon. The toast was white, as well has his hash browns. A customer sitting behind us had hash browns that were burnt! From one extreme to the other. The waitress kept apologizing to everyone for it taking too long to get the food, but I didnt think it took very long. If she wanted to apologize for something, she should have apologized for not giving the hash browns back to the cook and telling him he should cook them longer!

Decided to try this Village Inn after horrible service at the Telshor location. Food was abysmal. (Served me a cold steak with a frozen center, forgot our salads which when we finally did receive had lots of brown wilted lettuce, sides were either messed up or disgusting. (Reheated frozen corn that was rubbery and had freezer burn flavor. Also soaked in blood from when they brought my steak back.) Forgot to bring other sides.) Waitress didnt care and was quite flippant. Will never eat there again!

We went in at night...9 pm. Table was dirty....waiter was nice but either new or doesnt care about his tip. My sandwich was over toasted, I had to ask where to pay since I sat there with my card out for 10 min. Never asked if we wanted desert. I had to order my daughters at checkout ...in the front. Convientant location but we wont return....Ill drive across town to ihop. Im actually not picky but I like clean and when I want to leave I dont want to sit for 10 min not knowing where to pay!

This place is terrible. Customer service is a joke. I had an issue with my meal and all the manager did in the purple shirt was take it away. No time to this person offer another plate or offer to make it right. I guess this is typical of this particular organization. No sense of customer service.

I came to the restaurant hearing good reviews on the food. Ordered the Machaca and was sourly disappointed in the service and food quality. Portions of the meal were forgotten and there was neglect in correcting it. Was left waiting for the check as well.

Newer place, bright and clean, good food, some new menu items. service was very good. Friendly staff. Our server, Daniel, checked on us 3 times, the manager twice. Place was about 1/2 full. Convenient location. Close to I-25.

Great crew working here. Polite and professional. I also noticed the vi manager had more hands on experience and was using it to make my delicious strawberry banana cream french toast. Mmmmmmmm delicious . Thank you !!!!!!

Its ok if an only option. The chicken fried steak was served hot and tasty! My server, Daniel, was very nice. Ambiance is mixed crowd, elevator music, and mostly families. The strawberry lemonade was also pretty good!!!

Was greeted professionally and waited on very promptly. Food was made fast, hot, and tasted great. Enjoyed my meal. 5 stars to the waiter (young man, glasses, thin build) and 5 stars to cook. Will definitely be back.
