on 01/09 we went for an early family dinner, got seated right away, so a good start. Ordered starters, endless salad an soup and Tour of Italy x 3. Salad and soup came first followed a few minutes after by our starters, not enough time to even have the soup. Then 2 min after that our meals arrived. The table was over full, couldnt reach anything. I told the waiter these are out to quick we havent had a chance to eat the soup never mind the starters, they will get cold. He says we can take them and warm them. The kitchen is to fast cause not busy. He left, when he came back I asked him if it wasnt up to him to let the kitchen know when we had finished starters etc. He said he told the fire up in 5 minutes they didnt listen. Again offered to warm them. I told him no, meal is ruined wanted to be able to sit and enjoy it not rush and we had not had a chance to eat anything! Then a manager came over did not introduce himself. Said loudly to my daughter Hey havent seen you for a long time how things? She did not know him. He stood back over 3 ft from table and again said hows things?. I said not good. He says oh why? I told him food came to fast as he could see nothing hardly was touched.I said we did not have time to even eat the salad and soup. He says we can pack you some extra to go if you want. I said no the meal was ruined and cold. He said we can heat it or refire it and would tell the kitchen to go slower. I declined. I was upset and very disappointed. I asked for boxes to leave and ordered a tiramisu to go.I got the bill and found they had taken the starters off the bill, though didnt mention it. When we left no one opened the door or said goodbye (always used to.) The soup was watery the sausage in it barely cooked and spongy. The chicken in the chicken parmesan was hard, and to much coating like the frozen ones we buy in a bag, not like freshly made, and to top it all the piece of tiramisu was 3x3 inches for $6.99. It was a joke, filled only a quarter of the to go box. The managers condescending attitude and standing away from the table talking down to us was not acceptable. I have been to the Olive Garden many times in the past, though not lately, and will certainly not be wanting to go back, Its gone downhill in food and service. I was so let down as this was supposed to be a special family meal. I have not written a review like this before and hope to never again.

First time going to this Olive Garden location and not the best service. As we walked in we right away got seated since they had no wait time and it was a party of two. Everything was okay until at the beginning but it took server 5 minutes just to come and ask us what we would like to drink and right away taking away our wine glass without asking if we would like a sample. Im thinking to myself like WTH from what I know thats the first thing they ask and nope it wasnt that way this time around. We got our salad right away but server never asked if we wanted more and just came and grabbed the salad bowl once she saw it was empty. I t was already strike two of me being disappointed. A few minutes later she came out with our pasta and salmone. We only had around 5-8 minutes eating our entree when she came and asked if we needed boxes if we are not even finished eating. At that point I felt rushed and not liking the service I was receiving. I said it was fine for her to bring the boxes but we would continue to eat and have them handy just in case we needed them. Right when she brought them out she gave us our check and said thank you for coming. I didnt know I was only allowed 10 minutes to enjoy my meal. I paid through the touch screen machine and she kept on looking towards our table and at the front counter computer. I dont know why we were receiving this weird stare from her... I thought to myself maybe she will bring chocolate mints but NOPE that was not the case. I did the 7 question questianore and asked truthfully of how I felt. I dont know if they are able to read them right away but as we are walking out from the restaurant and our waitress is at the front desk with the hostess she gives us the mean look and doesnt say thank you or good night. I just say good night to everyone whos there and thank you to the host who opens the door for us. Maybe she thought we werent dress properly or something because kept on looking at us because we had our soccer clothes on with sandals.. I believe I could go out and enjoy dinner dressed however I would like and still receive the same service as other were at that moment. Thanks for my 30 min dinner..!

Our first time here and a VERY long time at an Olive Garden. We were excited to use our Gift Cards to do the all you can eat breadsticks, salad and soup for lunch! Food was great as always. We never saw the electronic touch screens at the tables before and the hostess seated us giving the menus and that was it. We were confused as to should we order off the touch screen or is someone coming? A server showed up he took our drink orders and came back for our food orders and refills when needed. At the end I asked for boxes to take home some bread sticks and what the kids didnt eat, he gave us a small black container that could barely fit the mac n cheese noodles so we wrapped up the breadsticks in a napkin. We walked past a table that didnt take their mints and realized we never got any, on our way out I asked that server if we can please have some mints before we go. Everytime we go out, we always tip 20% from the check regardless of service since a lot of times that is that servers or the whole teams paychecks for the week. Maybe next well try Red Lobster even though they are owned by the same company! ;)

I ate what could have been my "last meal" at Joel Sanchezs Olive Garden on Wetmore Rd Dec 2,2013, one month ago. I ordered chicken parmesan and one hour later was rushed by ambulance to St Marys with an acute allergic reaction. I have a serious shellfish allergy and carry an EpiPen. I called the mgr Mr Sanchez the next day after my 6-hr stay in the hospital. He said it was all my fault because I had not told the waitress and it is common practice for all Olive Gardens to use the same deep fryer for chicken and shellfish. I was on vacation in Tucson and contacted my local Olive Garden in Washington, where we eat often. They do not cross contaminate their chicken and fish and never have. Lucky to be alive- - thanks to fire dept, paramedics, and ER staff at St Marys. Connie Mortenson Olympia Wa.
