I hope people read this review before wasting their money at this horrific restaurant. I was out with my family on a Sunday afternoon so we decided to go eat at this TGIF in Wood-Ridge NJ Route 17. For the most part the service was decent but the portion on this specific dish was very short. We ordered Chicken Jack Daniels Strips and we literally received about 5 pieces so I asked the waiter if that was the normal portion? She replied buy saying that all dishes are measured sometimes they overflow and sometimes they dont. So she contradicted herself in one sentence. She took the order back and brought out a new one with what seem to be a normal portion of about 10-12 pieces. I didnt think much of it and we actually enjoyed the rest of the stay until I ordered my second beer. After taking a couple of sips of my cup my wife asks me if I had kissed someone with lipstick on because she didnt remember putting any on. I asked her why and she pointed at the cup that I was drinking from and it clearly had someones lipstick stain on the rim of the glass. You cant imagine how disgusted I felt. I immediately asked to see the manager and showed him the cup and he apologized and stated that I would not have to pay for the beer. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? The beer???? I took 2 sips from the beer how the hell was I going to pay for that???? Whos going to pay for my medical bill if I happen to get sick or even worst get herpes or something???? I paid for my check and Its safe to say that I will never return to this TGIF in my life!!!!

Only reason Im not giving it 1 star is because it USED to be good, we went there every Fri night for about 6 or 7 months to play pool, listen to the dj, have drinks and apps. There was a girl named Emily and another girl whos name I forgot, she left to go work at BAI drinks and they were amazing bar tenders, since they left the bar is horrible. The current bar tenders have no idea how to make drinks, they are disgusting and over poured every time. They started putting ham instead of bacon on their potato skins....gross and the beer sucks, defiantely not cold enough. I couldnt even finish my glass, my last time giving that place a shot was around Oct 2016. Sad to say, I will never go back again. So long Friday night spot, it was fun while it lasted.

I cant comment on food as I never had any, and I cant comment on service either. What I can comment on is a restaurant that turns away business. I arrived at the restaurant at 12:45am on Sunday morning and I was told by the hostess that the kitchen is closed. I queried why are you open until 2am and the kitchen is closed so early. She informed me that they were closing at 1am. Ahead of me, was a party of 5 persons they also turned away. A total of 7 customers out the door. I went to the Applebees in North Bergen where the kitchen was serving dinner even after 2am while staff were closing up. Thats a business who knows how to make money and tips.

I put one star because I cant put anything lower. Me and my family went to their restaurant in hope that we can get some good service and food. When we got there the restaurant had like 3 people eating there, which we found odd and we initially thought it was closed. When we got there we didnt have to wait too long to get seated but, the problem came later since after being seated we had to wait about half an hour just to get someone to acknowledge that we were there. The waiter apologized and said to wait a moment. We did but, after a few minutes we left dissatisfied since we were hungry and we wasted our time in a service less restaurant.

Absolutely the worst! We ordered appetizers including the warm pretzel sticks. It was only after getting all the other appetizers, after waiting 25 minutes, then asking our server about the pretzel sticks that we were told they didnt have any. The entrees werent any better. The burgers were ordered medium rare and came well done, the chicken in a salad was under cooked, the avocado was brown. No flavor to any of it. Of six people, only one ate most of his lunch. The rest of us didnt bother after a few bites. Server didnt even ask if there was a problem with the food or if anyone wanted dessert or coffee. Very poor choice.

Fridays used to be a great place to go and hang out after work. It used to be a great place to go on a Friday night when you did not feel like cooking. This place has totally changed for the worse. Prices are high and does not match the amount of food that they put on your plate. The quality of the food is not worth 17 and $18 especially when theyre throwing $5 worth of food on your plate that a baby could make. I was very much distracted and insulted by what I saw when they served me. I will not be going back here ever again unless somebody else is treating me. If they want to blow their money on me, fine.

I called in for a take out .. once I arrived 20 min later , I still had a 20 mins wait.. then for them to pack all my food in the small to go containers.. they stated they ran out of large boxes .. so now I have 12 small containers of dried out shrimp and chicken pasta .. my food had no flavor and about 3 shrimp in total that were so hard I couldnt even chew it .. my chicken was burnt!! After 90$ worth of food to get home and no one eats there food is breathe taking .. Im very unsatisfied and unhappy . Manager called me back and gave me everything I ordered again for free !! They sat us (party of 13) and never assigned a waiter, after ample time of us waiting patiently we had to ask for service. So needless to say 20-30 mins passed from the time we were seated before we finally had drinks on our table... And that was the lack of timely service we received for the remainder of our dinner. The place was by no means busy, so Im not sure what the problem was. But the food was good, and drinks where mixed deliciously.... So in the short of it, good food, bad service. I would give them a second shot the next time Im in the area, if I have no schedule to keep to.

I came here with low expectations to begin with; not looking to be satisfied or have a pleasurable experience. I was merely hungry and sought the most convenient location. I ended up being underwhelmed and dramatically disappointed. I waited 20 minutes for drinks and had to disembark from the table and walk to the bar and request my drinks, which were sitting idly and finally bought to the table watered-down. The appetizers were unappealing and simply unsatisfactory. Im not sure what to do with this awful experience but I had to share as I felt dutibound to share with others.

We waited forever for our order, then a portion of our appetizers came. After we asked 3 different waiter/waitress, We have been told, the chips was running out, they are making the new news. Why couldnt someone told us at beginning when they brought the half of dipping dish out! Our waiter miscalculated our bill, off cause it was my fault I didnt look closely before I paid for it. The waiting time was really long, we were rush out! If you do decide to go this place have a planet of time, and make sure look your bill closely before paying for it!
