The ONLY reason they are getting one star is because the food is decent. I used the Brick Plaza drive through tonight and it was a huge mistake. My first clue to drive away without ordering should have been when it took close to 10 minutes to respond and take my order of 4 meals. Then, unable to pull away from the restaurant because of curbing, I waited an additional 20 minutes before getting to the window for my food. When I commented about the unacceptable delay, there was no response other than a blank look. The worst was yet to come...None of the servers were wearing gloves! This included the person handling food and money at the front register and the server at the drive in window, also handling both food and money. This is in direct violation of health code regulations, not the first time I noticed this here, and really leaves me wondering what other food handling violations take place here. Another 10 minutes at the window brought the total wait time here, well over 40 minutes!! And, yes, as has happened before, milk was put in the bag with the hot food. Typically, common sense dictates separating hot and cold food. I have been a long time customer here; always felt the Boston Market food is a cut above typical fast food, usually stopping there once weekly on my way home . This, however, will certainly be my last time using this particular Boston Market, until they begin adhering to healthcode and acceptable sanitary practices. My time is valuable, but apparently not of concern to this establishment, although I did finally get a cursory apology for the wait just before driving away. Im curious about the management and if they have had training in food handling and sanitation. Perhaps a call to Ocean County Health Department is in order...

Im so disappointed in this place! I went to this location for years! Ill tell you why Im now dissatisfied and disgusted by this location! On 2/19/2017, I went to order Boston Market at 8:35 PM after going to Washington DC. I decided to order a quarter chicken. But they said right away, "Oh, Im sorry! We just ran out of White Chicken and Turkey. We do have everything else." I was so clueless after that. How can they run out of White Chicken and Turkey like that? I understand that other fast food places run out of items. But not that quickly! Its not like those Mom & Pop restaurants that runs out of food quickly! Anyways, when I went to the window I saw the staff rushing to close the place! They even mopped the floor while theyre working and cooking the food! Thats a safety hazard right there! The manager needs to take control of the place! The staff was running around like a bunch of flies! The manager was just sitting and doing absolutely nothing! When I finally got the food, everything was okay except for one of the chickens! It was dark chicken, and it was smaller than the quarter! How is that good? Getting chicken smaller than anything! I may never go back to this location until they get it together! They need to take control!
