Ok, so I almost never write reviews on anything, however, this place deserves it. I LOVE Italian style subs, and try them basically all over. So, when I was in town visiting family and heard that I had to try this Blimpie, I was totally for it. First of all, right when you walk in, the place is old school and clean. Walking up to the sandwich counter, there are two people, and these guys are pros. First, they take your order (a Blimpie Best for me), and they cut the bread, and then thin slice and load on all the meats and cheese right there in front of you directly onto the sandwich. This part is key- no pre-sliced meats waiting around, this is from the slicer to your sub. I recommend topping with "the Blimpie way" with tomato, lettuce, onion, oil, vinegar and oregano. Of course, there are tons of other options etc. While there are tons of places, from chains to pizza joints, to get subs, this place makes a truly loaded sub, fresh cut to order right in front of you. I get its just sandwich meats, but the way its assembled, dressed and prepared makes a real difference, and its noticeable here. At the same time, it feels local because it is. The two people always behind the counter (owners I assume) are so nice, amazing and make a great sandwich, and all while making you feel at home. I live way out of town, but look forward to coming here every time I can.

normally i do not care for chain sub shops. This Blimpies is fanastic though. Fresh ingredients, good value for your money and friendly staff. They also make a delish pizza. The Blimpies in hackensack has served me stale bread several times and are skimpy on the servings. NOT the Rutherford Blimpies - plentiful, fast, and scrumptious.

Foods good but the bread could be fresher and the guy who answers needs to relax,slow down,and not interrupt when telling him how i want my sandwich made.....very rude and uninviting. If there was a different blimpies that delivered close by I would order from there.

Unfriendly and disorganized staff. Poor quality ingredients, way overpriced for what it is. Walk down to subway for better subs or walk a couple blocks up to Chris pizza for better pizza.
