Impressively terrible 1) when asking for a beer, I was informed it was not on draft. Absolute nonsense as it was on the menu and from my chair I could see it. I was offered it in a can so I told her to try to get me a draft anyway. when she returned she informed me I was "lucky" they had it. Am I lucky that I can observe the bar better than an employee within 5 minutes or that I caught you on a good day when you werent completely brain dead? 2) Dont ever have thoughts about burger customization! That doesnt fly at all ! just attempt to order a breaking bad burger without tomatoes. You will be told sternly (like your a child who doesnt understand how food works) that they CANT make it without tomatoes because its a competition burger.... So youre not allowed to order what you want because the pride of this places burger far outweigh any desires held by a customer. 3) the nachos are named something incomprehensible by any individual slightly intoxicated and mid way through have an insane flop factor, making them lose all nacho structural integrity. 4) when I try to smoke a cig with a beer in the beer garden (mind you I see the designated area where to sit and stand) the girl at the counter repeats herself 3 times that Im not supposed to smoke in the parking lot. the thing is I didnt even have such aspirations as there is obvious seating out front. There is no reason to repeat yourself 3 times to someone who hasnt even broken a rule. 5) dj music thats inappropriate with the crowd, coupled with no real dance floor.... come on... in conclusion I feel like its not a bar. its a building that serves very mediocre food for an inflated price and a more inflated ego. I get the general treatment of "youre an idiot and dont know whats going on". the thing is , Im a paying customer thats probably just going to now (with other paying customers) go to the pour house right down the street. Ive given this place 5 chances before I wrote this review to account for anomalies. please change your ways if you do decide to still go there order a " haddon special" great value

I was really excited to find out about this place. When I walked in, I immediately fell in love with the rustic, cozy atmosphere but was disappointed that the music didnt match it. I drank with a friend to songs like Hotline Bling and artists like One Direction when I was expecting something more down to earth or soothing like Mumford and Sons. For the age group and crowd that it attracts (which is mixed), I think a more alternative, soft rock playlist would suit the venue. Other than the music, I was disappointed with the draft list. For a place that is named "KEG and kitchen" you would think there would be more options. I ordered a bottled ale (not pleased with any of the draft picks) that I waited 15 minutes for only to have our server tell me that they were out of it but had the IPA (which wasnt even on the menu). In short, the service was slow (I only ordered one beer!) and the menu quite confusing/disappointing. I was so pleased to find a pub-like venue after spending months in Ireland but not very thrilled with its service. I hope Keg & Kitchen can expand and correct its menu, hire a few more servers, and change the music choice. With competition like Pour House right down the road, these guys need to step it up!!

I guess it was the time we went at, which was 11 pm. My boyfriend and I thought we would stop in and check it out . Heard good things. When we walked in there were tables open so we just sat down. Ok there were people at bar actually the bar was full. we did see a waitress but not once did she stop and ask if we wanted anything. So my boyfriend went to the bar and got drinks for us. The bartender did say there was a waitress but she continued to pass us by. the bar cleared out we sat at the bar. The bartender continued to talk to other people as she poured the beer and we still continued to wait. So overall we spent 38.00 for really poor service and only had 2 drinks. Money is not the issue but if Im gonna pay that I want the service I deserve.

Wow. Im not a huge beer fan, but I was feeling a bit adventurous the other day and asked for a recommendation. The man (he might have been a manager or the owner? He was bearded and awesome) brought me a Flemish Red that was absolutely delicious. Light, fruity and with some wine notes. He also recommended a strong citrus beer for my friend that he liked. The food is cooked to perfection--from chicken and waffles to schnitzel to a short rib sandwich with a ricotta spread. I will give a heads up to hummus lovers--they put a toasted sesame oil in their hummus so it definitely isnt the traditional Middle Eastern hummus youd expect. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Opentable a reservation though, because they get busy fast.

First off the atmosphere here is amazing. I really like the ambiance and mood of this place. Second, much of the food on the menu is extremely tasty. I think at times its a bit overpriced and the portions are a tad on the small side but overall Id rate the food 9/10. Thats the good. I wish they would do a better with hiring or training their servers. Id say of the 8 times Ive been there, 5 or 6 times Ive had a total jerk for a server, who was either rude, non-attentive, or clueless on how to treat customers. And it was not the same person. It was different people. Its a shame because the two good servers I had were GREAT. But if you dont mind a-hole servers, then Id def check this place out!

Alrighty, I came to this place with interest, I entered the building and I saw the decor, it was enjoyable and cozy. Alas best part of the visit. Music doesnt match the vibe of the place, and the food doesnt either. I feel this is more of a hipster bar than anything, its trying to be fancy but it comes short, the floors are slippery... even in the bathroom.... I can assume that they just cleaned them. Anyway food was decent but nothing remarkable, alcohol is always good. Waited a half an hour for water. Otherwise I enjoyed the company of my family.

Lots of choices on the menu, that definitely lends itself to a shared, family style dining, which I had hoped my friends would be into, because I wanted EVERYTHING. Ended up getting the large meat and cheese board and the blueberry thyme compote was amazing! Mexican corn was burnt just enough, with a spicy cheese sauce. Service could have been *a touch* better. It was adequate...but thank God we all liked our food, because our server didnt check up on us until we were almost done. Skipped dessert, as the list looked a little uninspired....

Ive got this cool hat from Hawaii thats braided out of banana leaves, but I never wear it because Im afraid Ill appear to be affecting a hipster look, so mostly the hat goes unworn. Sometimes I wear it when Im mowing the lawn to be ironic. I think keg in the kitchen is a good place to eat and have a beer. Im not sad about not wearing my hat because its always on a hook, on a closet door, in my bedroom where I can see it. Its a nice reminder of my honeymoon in Hawaii.
