im a truck driver from CA, i frequently order pupusas from this place for delivery here in linden...the pupusas are ok but other food is not...once i order yuca frita con chicharon y el chicharon estava crudo later that day i place to orders, the carne asada plate and the pollo asado plate and order some frijoles y casamiento on the side con un aguacate and we opened out plates(to go box) there were no frijoles casamiento and the aguacate. i called back the restaurant but the lady did not know what to do, and she argue with me that they did put the side orders..well i did not get any refund or at least a free orchata. service really sucks amd the food portions u will get like 3lbs of white rice and 1lbs of salad. all btw i forgot to mentioned that the platano frito breakfast plate no mas le pusieron 3miserables pedasitos d platanos....

Unfortunately, I must disagree with the comment below. This restaurant is not good at all, their portions are small for the price you pay. What they do is give you a ton of rice but not enough protein, whether it be meat or chicken. Their pupusas are "uh, just ok".....When they first open their food was good but with time it has gone down hill, their rice, beans and chimol (equivalent to pico de gallo) has no flavor, all very bland. I give this place two thumbs down. Ive tried them about 4-5 times, each time thinking the meal will be better than the last time but sadly they werent. If you want good Salvadorean food try other locations like El Salvadoreño in Elizabeth or Las Canastillas in Newark and there are a few place in Union City on Bergenline Ave.

This place is bad the food is horrible!!! And the one in Elizabeth is the same, bad service and food!!! Dont waste your time in either!!! Oh by the way its a Slavadorean resturant not "Mexican"!!!
