Im taking the time to write this review for what seemed like a very unappreciated gem of a family-owned restaurant. I happened upon it on my way home from the shore. First of all, the staff was super nice! The chef even came out and made sure everything was to our liking. The nachos were the most unique Ive ever had! They were perfectly layered in sour cream, mole sauce, and fresh cheese. When we asked for no meat (usually comes with chicken or pork) but guacamole (usually an extra charge) instead, the waitress said she could give us some for no extra charge! They are extremely vegetarian friendly. The salsa it comes with was so sweet and delicious, we had to make sure to bring the remainder home with us. The mole sauce I had with my enchiladas was not the most complex flavor Ive ever had, however it was still very delicious. I would gladly pay another $11 for the dish again in the future! Did I mention how reasonable the pricing was? I highly recommend stopping here to satisfy your Mexican food craving if you happen to be in the area.

I quite liked the PANCHO VILLAs Mexican restaurant in the same location. It went away and was replaced by CASA FABIAN. The staff is friendly. The tortilla chips served while you are waiting are clearly not homemade and are not very good. They come with two dipping sauces and they are better than the chips they come with. The menu is unimaginative, but has a few interesting dishes. I ordered the enchilada lunch which came with a small mound of yellow rice and a cup of beans more watery than I like them. There were two small enchiladas about four inches in length and 3/4 of an inch in diameter. They were tasty, but not outstanding. The mole sauce is just OK. After I left it occurred to me that the menu said that the dish had *three* enchiladas. They gave me only two. With three enchiladas that still would not be much for $8.95 but at least it would not be dishonest. How much could the missing item save the restaurant? They must make these lunches all the time and it is hard to believe it was an honest mistake.

Absolutely amazing authentic BYO Mexican. The chiplote sauce is unreal. Chimichangas are so good. Chile Relleno is soo good. It doesnt matter if you order chicken or beef. They are both cooked properly. The price is very low. Order a bunch of sauces and sides like guacamole and pico. Try the roja. Its very spicy and tasty. Very rich pepper flavor.

Really do not understand how people like this place. Terrible! Terrible is gross understatement. Restaurant is dirty, food did not look appealing & tasted awful. After the waitress asked, how did we like it, and i was trustful she did not offered anything.

They had quite a few vegetarian options and all the food we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend the nachos.
