Waitress was friendly, but everything else was wrong. The wine (Pinot Noir) came out hot (well above room temperature). The steak was ordered rare, came out medium (its a steak place, and it was empty, mine was the ONLY steak they had to cook...). But the kicker, and what makes this story worth telling, there was a ROCK in the bread. Literally. A rock. A white stone about 3/4 inches long. At first I was excited because I thought it was a piece of roasted garlic, and who doesnt like roasted garlic in their bread? But I bit down and it was, without any doubt, a piece of solid matter forged in the earth millions of years ago. Our waitress told the manager who did nothing about any of this. The manager did not even come to our table to apologize or even attempt to make sure things were ok (the restaurant was empty, so its not like he had anything else to do). Overall a completely unacceptable experience for the price. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Or take the risk that if something is wrong, they dont really care one bit about you as a diner.

Management is horrible over there. They will charge an extra two or three dollars for a drink with Grey Goose and give you well vodka. What does the management do? Nothing, they think it great because it makes the bar makes more money for them. Its bad business, everyone at my table caught on to their way of doing business and havent been back since. Go to Kawa if you want sushi, longhorn if you want steak. Dakota Prime might seem like a decent place but the owners are crooks and take entirely too many short cuts. And when Im paying over a hundred dollars for a nice dinner, I dont want short cuts. Would never go there again, your better off going next door to bennigans.

This place is a local treasure. If u are sick of the chain restaurants please go here. The food and service was impeccable. My husband and I just ate here for our anniversary and we got the avacado and crab tower.... delicious and fresh. And we both got the surf and turf filet Mignon and cold water African lobster tail. It was the best steak I may have ever had. Then we shared a creme Brule that was great (Im not an expert on those to compare but we enjoyed it) they are having a special right now tues thru Saturday 4 to 6 and Sunday 6 to 9 for 19.99 for the surf and turf. Very worth it.

I recently had dinner at Dakota Prime Steak House and Sushi bar. As we waited for our table to be prepared, we had a drink at the bar in Harrys Pub. Our bartender was nice and very knowledgeable about the different selections of the craft beer list. Dinner was very delicious and filled our expectations. Our server was very nice and accommodated some of our "picky" eaters needs. We can not wait to go back and enjoy some great Ribeye!!!!!

I wanted to give five stars, but the bread was cold in the middle from them not warming it up properly after it being in the freezer. However, I ordered the 8 oz. Filet and it was cooked properly and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and quiet and the staff is very nice. I have been there several times and will go back, despite the bread issue.
