One of my favorite restaurants! Incredible food, friendly people and great service in a charming, historic ambience. Not a cheap date, but you shouldnt expect it to be with this level of quality ingredients impeccably prepared by a CIA-trained chef. Im always proud to bring my out-of-town family, friends and colleagues or clients here, because I can be certain of an excellent dining experience at the Ferndale. I even had one client who would find reasons to come visit just so she could eat there again!

Was taken there by a local. Have been back several times and have always been greeted warmly by the front of house staff, who also graciously took great care of me, even if my order was to go. The food is simply outstanding, almost beyond words. The care for, and love of the food is clearly evident in ALL of this talented chefs work. I will come back again and again! BRAVO!

Stopped there for cocktails while checking out the restaurant for a meeting with some friends. We stayed for drinks and had some bar food. The staff was friendly and the locals who stopped in were hospitable. We had a great time and wound up staying for several hours. The menu looks great and well be going back for our meeting.

Quaint and charming little restaurant with a bar, friendly customers and the bartender too. The food was absolutely delicious! My first time having escargot and I would go to the Ferndale to have it again..and the prime rib...to die for!
