I dont normally like going out on holidays, but was asked by family members to join them for Mothers Day - BIG MISTAKE. Let me start by saying, my daughter is gluten free. Because of this we always check with restaurants ahead of time. I called several day prior to going and specifically asked if they had a special Mothers Day menu or would the regular menu be available. I was assured that there was no special menu and that we would have the regular dinner menu. When I asked about gluten free options, I was told that they would accommodate my daughter. After viewing the dinner menu online, my daughter was able to come up with a couple of things she would be able to eat. Jump ahead to Mothers Day. We arrived and there was a very limited Mothers Day menu. When I inquired as to why the regular menu was not available I was simply told that the limited Mothers Day menu was the only thing available. When we told our server about the gluten free, she did go into the kitchen and came back saying that she could order any of the pasta dishes and they would do them gluten free. This lead us to believe that they had gluten free pasta. That was not the case. The only thing they could do was use the risotto in place of the pasta. The only other option was a $40.00 fillet. Needless to say we were not impressed with the offerings. She got the bland tasting risotto with shrimp and crab meat. It was not good. I ordered the crab cakes which were all bread and maybe scant traces of crab meat. They were horrible. But for the fact that a family member recommended this place, we would have gotten up and left when they were not really able to accommodate gluten free options. We will not be going back.

Stingers is usually a decent place to eat. However, this weekend for a First Holy Communion Lunch I was very disappointed. The lunch menu was very limited to start with. We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table and the only decent one was the cheese steak egg rolls. A few of us ordered the crab cake platters which we were told came with mashed potatoes and veggies. The crab cake was covered in a dark brown bread crumb coating and was all filling, couldnt even taste the crab! I think Ive had better from the Gordons Fishermans box! There were no mashed potatoes, instead two potato wedges. They had a nice assortment of fresh veggies but the cook killed them and turned them into mush. Some of our guest ordered the turkey club which was processed turkey (booo!!!!). The baked clams, which we only ordered a dozen were almost left untouched. They had no flavor what so ever! They even managed to mess up a chicken cutlet sandwich! Wow. The children left their food basically untouched as well. Which was spaghetti and meatballs and a cheese burger. Thats sad. I think Stingers needs to up their game big time. I think the entire party went home hungry. Maybe a new cook, or try ordering better products to serve your customers. Like real turkey and home made crab cakes. Just a suggestion.

We tried coming twice, the first time in a large group so it almost doesnt count, but the bacon jam on my burger tasted like Welches. I have had great Smokey bacon jam and was very disappointed, also burger was overcooked and dry. Second time we sat at the bar. The bartender was just okay, not overly friendly, even after I complimented her margaritas. The food was bland. I had Stingers fries, which on the description states old bay with cheeses sause and crab served with a side of siracha ketchup. They were served, without ketchup , I asked, it was brought out. Hardly a trace of old bay on the fries so, by now forget it. My husband had muscles in a very watery white sauce, no wine, butter, garlic or cheese. The sauce looked a bit grey and very bland. We had 2 different draft beers both flat and not very cold. Staff was sitting around doing nothing. The management was indifferent, there but only to flaunt themselves. I will not come back. Yes, the view can be nice, they built it way to big and snazzy. I hope Ridley Township can pull this off, it is so needed along the Delaware River. If you look acroos the river at New Jersey and Delaware, they have many options along. Is this really the best Pennsylvania can do? BTW, yes a bit pricey, which we don3t mind if it is worth it.

Ordered Chicken Joseph, received chunks of boneless chicken & tortellini with a Rosa sauce. Waiter never came back to check on us, I finally wound up eating it. It was tasty, just not what I ordered. My husbands meal was a little over cooked, he had the parmesan encrusted talapia similar to what BJs sells . We would have liked desert, but no waiter. We could see him waiting on another table, but couldnt catch his attention. Summoned host/manager for the check & as we were leaving our waiter arrived & asked if we had enjoyed our meal. Not a good 1st impression, will not be going back!

I had a luncheon there that was an absolute disgrace. I would never ever schedule a small party there or ever recommend that place for anything. The server was slow, I was charged the dinner prices for a luncheon and several other unpleasant issues. I was promised a $25 gift card for my inconvenience and the "misunderstandings". I never received the gift card so I wrote a letter and brought everything else to the owners (Kevin) attention, he simply shrugged everything off and more or less called me a liar and asked how I could blame them........what???

My husband and I went last night for our anniversary. Everything was delicious! Everything we got was off the specials menu, we split braised beef ravioli and seared ahi tuna over artichoke risotto for appetizers they were great. We both had the seafood pasta, I had white and he had Diablo. My favorite part about going out to eat is having a doggie bag for the next day. I wasnt disappointed I had enough left to eat some before work tonite and still have some when I got home.

A funeral lunch, a shower, a rehersal dinner, or our childs birthday party food they always do a fantastic job. We also eat there often for a always good meal. They are easy guys to work with and take care of your needs like family. Good luck on the new resteraunt guys im sure youll do great.

Food was ok. Hostess and ambience was the reason we gave it a 2. The wait staff were rude. We got the wrong order because our server put in the wrong order. Had to ask 3 times before we got our glass of water. They over charged me by $2 for a sandwich. As we were leaving we bumped into another couple who had the same complaints about the wait staffs, rudeness.

Ive enjoyed myself each time I stop in with my boyfriend. If crab, cheese and fries are your thing. You HAVE to give the Stinger fries a try. I even ate off my boyfriends plate and it was delicious! Filet Stinger was soooo good! Everything was perfectly cooked to temperature. Strongly recommend this place for a casual outing. The food is too good to pass up.
