Me and my S.O. have been there three times. The food was great the first time, and worth our 50min drive there..but now, this place is never getting my business again. The last two times weve gone in, they have told us its take-out only. Last night, they made it very clear that the reason we werent seated was not about them closing. We were there TWO HOURS before they were to close and the girl at the counter said something to the server who then told us sorry, we cant seat you, you can only get takeout. "That area is closed" he said. Meanwhile, there were Korean people eating in the restaurant who had just gotten their food. Was it because were not Korean? No idea, but these guys refused to serve us so we refuse to eat there again.

Ive been to many korean fried chicken joints before. Don chicken stands out from the rest by using some different kind of batter that has more of a bumpy texture to it. Compared to some of the more popular chains, the coating is lighter but still holds a lot of soy garlic flavor in it! I would say this is one of the best korean fried chicken I have tasted. Their sauce is sweet but balanced. They also give you a bucket for used bones and plastic gloves if you choose to use them.

The food was great and did a fantastic job of fulfilling my Korean Fried Chicken craving. The texture to their fried chicken was different from other places (especially more main stream competitors like Bon Chon) but that didnt take away from the flavor at all. Their fries were also a nice addition, and my friends and I definitely cleaned those up without issue.

I am Korean and I cannot call this place Korean Chicken Place. 1. Korean Chicken is not dry and meatless. I didnt eat a piece 2. Korean have half/half option with a price of a whole chicken 3. The owner should not yell at cashier in front of customers
