We had a party of 12 go there this past Sunday. We waited an hour for a table, which was expected. However, I think this place actually punished us because we asked for (three) separate checks. The waiter commented rudely about it, and then im pretty sure they purposely held our order. We watched everyone else get served, including many who arrived after us. When our oder finally arrived, only 9 of us had food. They apparently forgot to place all of the orders, and blamed the "light on the pizza oven". They also served our hungry children last, making us all that much more miserable. By the time we were done, the place was empty. My sandwich was pretty good, and my kid liked his chicken fingers, but the other meals were generally panned. Our separate bills came with the tip already added in, and as poor as the service was, they didnt miss a penny off the bill, including charging for second and third cups of coffee. When we complained, we were dismissed by a smug "sorry" They wont miss us, but we wont go back. Save yourself the time and try another place

My wife and I vacation in Strathmere and repeated visits to Twisties during that week are a must. The only reason I didnt click on the Excellent buttons for Food, Decor, or Service is because I want Denise and Gary to continue to strive for perfection. The wait staff is always courteous and attentive. The meals are reasonably priced, generous portions of deliciousness (is that a real word?). Whoa whoa whoa stop the clock...forget what I wrote. Please dont come here so I can get a seat, enjoy the sunset with a sumptuous meal and a cocktail of my choice in peace.

Used to LOVE this place, but had some inattentiveness followed by a rude attitude thrown my way from behind the bar - not what you want when youre paying over $20 for a simple burger and a beer! Prices in here are out of control - no doubt, you deserve and need to make $ just to maintain a place as unique as this one, but being shuffled in and out like youre just a number while paying 3x normal prices has overshadowed and removed the special, exclusive feeling this little establishment once left its patrons with.

Got to the restaurant my wife ordered a Marlow. They ran out. Did not offer any other wine. Went to order appetizer. Order steamers. They ran out. Go figure a sea food bar- restaurant no sea food. Got the appetizer not five minutes they are trying to put the main meal on the table were there was no room. I would give the food a 4 star. But the service maybe a 2 star. Did seem like they were rushing you out. We wont be back

A nice relaxing family bar and restaurant. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious as well as the flatbread pizza. The service was fast and friendly. Keep in mind there are only about eight tables or so inside and four or so outside. When we were there, Sunday 07-30-17 they didnt offer service outside. Good experience though the menu is a little pricey

We had another great visit tonight. Come with a group to enjoy some drinks and find your way to a table for some nachos. The pizzas and sandwiches are awesome too. Service is attentive following the season opening (can be a bit rough in May/June). When the days get shorter, this might be the best hideout in Cape May County.

Just had the crab cakes. $29 for breading. VERY disappointed!!! I spend 30 bucks for crabcakes, I dont expect half of the cake to be filker. While Im at it, their beers are way overpriced ad well. What a disappointment, after friends raved & built it up!

Sadly disappointed in the lack of friendliness, the weak drinks and the cold, overpriced nachos. What happened to the authentic feel of theTwisties I remember from the past? All good thing apparently come to an end.

Awesome place of the beaten path just outside of Sea isle, in Strathmere. On the bay south of Deauville inn. The grilled mako sandwich was one of the best Ive had. Our waitress Cary was great!

Small bar and grill with a historic/local vibe. Food was good and freshly prepared. Not outrageously pricey for the island. Plenty of beer selections on tap including some local breweries.
