Had the worst bar experience of my life here when attempting to grab a drink after dinner.The bouncers are arrogant, rude and profile out of towners. Me and my fiance (both of age) were turned away at the door for "suspicious identification". The bouncers asked her to verify her address and sign a notebook to verify her signature. After she passed both requests she still was turned away because to them it wasnt good enough. When she asked what the problem was the head bouncer stepped to my fiances face shouting at her "look chick if you have a problem you can leave". When I stepped in front of her to intervene he told me he would "fu*K me up" and put his hands on me. The police had to be called in which they asked if I wanted to press charges. I chose not to. Needless to say Im going to stick with the other great bars in the area.

My family goes to Sea Isle every summer. A few of us decided to go here after No Shower Happy Hour at the Oceandrive (which is AWESOME!!). We had never been here and when we went to go in they wouldnt let us in because of our cups from No Shower Happy Hour. A few of the bouncers proceeded to rudely whisper about us and laugh and we asked if we could leave the cups near the exit so we could get them when we left. They were extremely rude, muttering things under their breath, and finally agreed. WELL, when we went to leave we asked where they were and the bouncers said they threw them on the roof and laughed! SOOO RUDE!!! WE WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK!! GO TO OCEANDRIVE!!! Springfield Inn is snooty, overpriced and no fun!

AVOID - rude, arrogant, clueless staff.... This place looks like it could be a great place, but save your money. I have been to a lot of bars in my life, but this one was an episode of bar rescue. Nobody acknowledged us as we walked in the gate. Slow service, we waited forever for our cold bland food and everything was an up charge. Then there were the "bouncers" drinking in the front gate who called me some kind of name when I left disgusted..... Come on really?

Love the Springfield.. and the carousel. Staff is generally cool and drinks are priced right. I have been coming to SIC for 20 years and my friends and family only go to the Springfield. Large beach bar largest dance floor on the island. The kind of place that if you are 21 or 91 you will enjoy yourself. The OD and lacosta are cool if you like the frat party atmosphere

The place is alright for large groups of people, but for this place I do not think the price is right and it seems that most of the bartenders are usually tired of dealing with the crowds. The one goodnight a week is Sunday for le compt but its way over crowded on these days. Avoid if you do not like to be pushing through people just to get to a bathroom.

This place is hands down one of the best bars in town! Only 5 dollar cover on Saturday nights?? That is nothing! It has such a big dance floor that there is always a dance party going on! Great bands and great outside smoking area if you are a smoker...I cant wait to go back for a Sunday Funday there with the Juliano Bros and LeCompt!

Dirty, rude staff, disgusting restroom, stay with bottled beer...dont trust well drinks, top shelf here doesnt exist. Dont use restroom with flip flops, you will float in there with all the mess on the floor. They should have a bring your own mop night.

The outdoor area is great, very nice to relax. Went during the weekday so not much of a crowd during that time. Has a sand area and some simple tables/lawn chairs. Cant beat the proximity to the beach, just feet away!

Seriously, why would anyone in there right mind ever go to Carousel Beach Bar? The bartender treats anyone not "local" like crap. Go to another bar if you want service with a smile, these guys need to be fired!

Worst Bar in Sea Isle, hands down. Rude, arrogant staff. Its a shame too because the place would have potential if it werent run so poorly. I make it a point to steer everyone away from here.

Always a great time at the Springfield Inn. Especially nice on this day, as we had a doubleheader in the afternoon we got to see The Juliano Brothers and then Mike leCompt at night.

Food is not great, but its one of the only bars RIGHT on the beach. Go there for drinks and skip the meal and you wont be disappointed.
