We have been coming to this place for years and then stopped because it was going down hill. Was on a mini-vacation with two boys this past weekend and figured we would try this place again since it was late and close to where we were staying. The boys both ordered the chicken and chips....which is chicken fingers and french fries. I almost fell out of my seat when I saw that chicken finders and fries cost a whopping $17 EACH. Yes....$17. I had the prime rib and it was a solid okay...nothing to write home about...and oddly enough, that cost $17.99. Sunday came along and the diner down the street was packed....so we came here again for the breakfast buffet. $11.99 covered the food but if you wanted juice or something to drink it cost more. We sat down and went up to the buffet for our food. Typical buffet. What I couldnt stand was the service. I finished my coffee by the time my omlette was ready. I ate all my food and was PARCHED because I had NOTHING to drink. After we finished out meals...and I was so thirstly, we waited for about another 15 minutes for the check. Finally, I did some math in my head, put money on the table and left. I actually stopped at McDonalds on the way back for coffee and OJ. Do yourself a favor and find another place to eat. The food, prices and service just arent worth it here.

I am a very tough person to please. Grew up eating 3 meals a week at my sicilian grandmothers table. Here is the honest review. went in with a party of 5, 2 adults 3.teens. Wife loved stuffed flounder. Clams with red sauce was decent (high marks for me) kids had chicken broccoli alfredo, chicken Parm, and a burger. So here is the bottom line. food was good. Everything serves in a timely manner and it was Sat. night and fairly busy. Wait staff should bring refills more frequently and the drinks are small, but food portions were large. Prices were kind of steep, but the AC worked and it was comfortable.Of course at the Shore prices are always 50% more, and I have nearly died of heat stroke and paid more at higher end Sea Isle establishments. Its a safe bet, not sure I would risk prime rib at anything less than a bona-fide steakhouse. Be smart when you order and enjoy

I have been coming for a few years now and I can say the older bartender is HORROBLE she blatantly ignored my husband and I for 15 minutes while waiting on people on either side of us. Finally the other bartender saw our empty glasses and came over. The older one tells me the key lime pie i ordered is supposed to be frozen. Really, I am a southern gal and NEVER had it served frozen, when I told her that she said well this is how the boss likes it. So what, it still isnt served properly. The couple next to us walked out.Worst experience ever!!!! Seavill Tavern acts like they dont care as they are only place around well guess what... you arent and if I get this kind of service ever again I wont ever cone back as I know of several better places just talking to others there to nite.

Havent been there for years as the service and quality declined. Heard it was turned around and was really good. Was excited about trying their King Cut prime rib. We ordered three 16 oz. King Cuts and all three were different sizes- unprofessional. My medium rare was medium. My wifes medium was medium rare - quality control? Was served dinner but didnt have utensils to eat with. Unfortunately every time I tried to cut my meat my fork would bend - reminded me of a cafetrria. To top it off a child at the next table cried the whole time. Server suggested they could have fixed everything but there shouldnt be a need to fix things if somebody checked the food before it is served. Thats not my job. The manager did take $10 off my meal but not enough to ever go back.

Ive been coming to the Seaville for about 5 years now, since the beginning of this year, the food has been just terrible and the service bad as well. Recently just took my 3 grandkids with my husband for lunch. We waited 15 minutes for a server to come to the table, I had to go find one, then waited almost a hour for our food. When the food got to the table, it was overcooked and cold. The fries that I got for the kids, were just nasty. Seaville.....what happened. They should have reimbursed our whole bill, but they did take off something that I had to ask for. Probably wont see us again and I will spread it to my friends and family.

Had to wait 45 minutes for our meal. Every time I asked my waiter about the wait he was courteous and apologetic. I told him I was so hungry and asked for crackers or bread. Never got the crackers or bread. When dinner did arrive at our table, it was delicious. Just did not get the feeling they were concerned about their customers. To respond with "I am so sorry" and not provide bread or crackers is NOT good customer service. Who knows, perhaps they were busy enough and do not need one more customer?

My husband and I love to frequent the Seaville Tavern. They have great specials on beer and food everyday. If you are looking to try a variety of good craft beers at a reasonable price this is your place. As far as the food goes, from their burgers, to the specials, and everything in between we cant complain! Havent had the same meal twice and everything is fantastic. The Jens at the bar are fantastic and some of the nicest and efficient bartenders Ive encountered.

Went there for the first time in many years Late March 2013 ate at the bar, food was great bartenders we excellent, can not stop the praise for this place. Still going there a year and three quarters later & can only sing the praises. While the kitchen maybe on occasion slow the food is always consistantly good, The bartainders keep you updated when things are behind. If you have not been there in a while it is time to come back!

I just came back from so called having breakfast and the food was cold and it wasnt even good. I had an omelet and a cup of coffee with my daughter and it costed me almost $30. I will never recommend this place to any one. They didnt even compensate me on my bill. how horrible is that. They charge you almost $12 for breakfast and you have to pay for coffee or juice. I was VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE PLACE.

Keeps getting better. Wing night every Thursday, you cant beat it. Usually crowded, make sure you get there early. Hostesses are great too. Bar staff not so much but I dont think they realize it. Waitresses are always nice and willing to get me anything I need. Easy dinner night out. The prices have gone up but so has the quality of their food.

I, too, kept trying Seaville Tavern, thinking I was ordering the wrong thing. The food is just bad, there are no two ways about it. I wanted to like it, its close to where I stay when Im down ashore, but its sub-par. I have to think that the only reason its still open is because of the location and the lack of other restaurants in the area.
