Spectacular food and great service. If you are in the mood for good mediterranean food with some flair, this is the place to go. Inside seating is very limited. The owner truly take a personal interest in his patrons. He knows us by name after only a few visits and always asks about my children when I go in.

An Amazing place to and eat at. It has the best Mediterranean around. The owner makes everything fresh by order. It feels like your in your own house eating. its very home-like and the waiter takes care of you like no one else. Café 28 is a true gem and if you havent tried it yet, you are missing out.

I have been going to Café 28 for years, when it first opened in Red Bank. Excellent, friendly service, delicious Mediterranean food, I am very excited that it has finally reopened in Ocean Twp, I can finally get my favorite falafel again!!

Great coffee, fattoush and falafel, and the cookies are a nice treat. Great service, and the owner does everything himself, which is impressive. Its a small shop with a great atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back a lot :-)

Owner and his daughter were super nice. Food and decor were wonderful as well. Great, hidden away family-run restaurant with great authentic fare. Kid-friendly as well; Just make sure you check with them on the spiciness first.
