The quality of this food is definitely not good, I could even taste the oil that has not been replaced in a while. I order lomain, egg roll and chicken, none had a decent taste. when I order delivery I heard $20, it could have been my mistake being I couldnt understand the accent, so as I am giving the delivery man $22 he said, $22 no tip? so I gave extra for tip seeing it was actually $22 no $20, no problem. But I had a problem with the delivery man attitude, knowing the quality of this food I feel like I need my money back, I definitely did not finish that food and the service is just as bad as the food.

A family run restautant with the best Chinese food anywhere AND always providing exceptional service. Ive been a regular guest there 20+ years and have never been disappointed. The shredded pork with garlic sauce and General Tso chicken are the best Ive ever tasted, and the fried pork dumplings with chili paste, ginger sauce, and white wine vinegar is unequaled. I highly recommend thistle restaurant as the best in the tri-state area.

I love Lotus Garden for lunch. They are so incredibly fast and efficient that I think they have a team of robots in the back actually preparing the food. We feel like we are ordering from the soup Nazi they are so quick. And I say all of this as being a good thing. For a weekday lunch, they get you in and out quickly with great food, plenty of it, and on the cheap. To me, thats perfect - even if it comes via robot labor.

The authentic dishes at Lotus Garden are very good. We had the mock duck, which was flavorful, if a touch too cold. The Lamb Casserole is excellent, but be prepared for skin on and bone in lamb -- isnt this how you tell it is authentic? The West Lake Soup is good, and notable for the fact that it uses sliced beef instead of ground beef. For lunch the Beef Noodles are also fantastic.

The dishes were great, we have been to the restaurant for years, but recently we have had few incidents that an old guy who treated us very rude said that my kids talked and laughed too loud which was totally double standard becuase many other adult customers talk even louder. He clearly doesnt like kids. We will not go there anymore solely because of him.

Ive been here twice. Both times I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special. The first time I got it, it was terrible. Assuming it was a fluke, I tried again. Even worse. Granted, I havent tried a large variety off the menu, but if you cant even get the most basic thing right, Im guessing their other dishes are just as bad. Would not recommend.

Usually everyone is nice but today they were very difficult to deal with. I had an issue with the person who took the phone order. He couldnt understand what I was trying to order. Then the lady who took payment seemed very mad that I wanted to pay some with a card and some with cash. I may never come back here again.

Very rude. The guy answered the phone whil I was talking to him and got upset I was asking questions. Refused to let me order a combination plate to go and after he said no, he turned away and started talking on the phone. Will never go again. Very very rude employees

If you like food, go somewhere else. This food may be good for an asian palette but for an American the food is awful. I consideted walking out when my plate arrived but I choked it down anyway. Now I feel ill. The service eas actually quite attentive.

The food is great and the service was very quick. My only complaint is they handed us the check assuming we were done even though I was erring more on the side of ordering an additional dish. Waitstaff should not be so presumptuous.

The food is fresh & flavorful. My husband & I were just passing thru town and were recommended this place at our hotel. The food is a little pricey but once you eat it u quickly find out your willing 2 spend a little extra $.

This is my all-time favorite Chinese restaurant. Their house duck sauce is to die for, as are the home-made fried wontons. My favorite dish is the chicken with orange flavor. They also make a mean vegetable roll.
