As a long time patron, I mainly go for their Hummus (probably the best in town). Otherwise this place is alright but somewhat overpriced on their juices and softdrinks. They also charge for water (even Indian places dont charge for warm water jugs...lol). Over the years Ive seen a few changes. Some I like; others are a kick in the butt to their longtime patrons. - Fresh Juicesbar: great addition. Juices are awesome but undersized for the $5+ prices. - Bread and Pickled Turnip starters: no more lately? Did the price of turnips go up? Whats going on? - Fresh Pita: some of the best in town. No longer brought out automatically. - Table service is extremely slow. We regularly wait 10-15 minutes or more before someone even comes to the table to take drink orders. Waiting for the check is also another story. - Meats/Kabobs: lately (but not always) too dry. Not sure if its because it takes too long to serve at the table or what. - No sandwiches during busy hours? Thats just weird! - No tahini sauce at all on the Kofta or Shawerma sandwiches, no Pickled turnips on the side even with the Humus. The Shawerma sandwiches had these inedible chewy ligaments in it (first time but it was disgusting). For the amount of hype around it, it just doesnt live up anymore and has been getting worse over the years as opposed to better. As a general rule, businesses shouldnt ever take away or start charging for something patrons have been getting as part of your signature services. While I understand that its sometimes required for bottom lines, it doesnt translate well to patrons accustomed to a certain experience as your guests. I really hope they get it together.

This restaurant is the worst of the worst I wish I can give less than one star. I hate filthy restaurants I will never ever take my family there. They dont clean the place, they give salad full of sand and dirt and when you let them know they take it back and they do not replace it. The bathroom is filthiest its worse than any public bathroom and they dont even have toilet paper or soap to wash your hand nor napkins to dry your hands. It smelled like it hasnt been cleaned for months. The food is terrible and they make you feel like a beggar when ask for more bread. If you arent dressed like a Muslim and covered up with those drapes all over your body and your face, they make you wait much longer and are hostile towards you. Their parking lot is too small They dont honor reservations and they send you home as if you never made reservations the day before. There are so many nicer places that are much cleaner and have courtesy . This is America and Im calling the board of health to check this filthy place. Dont go there checkout Beirut or Kamil those are both clean and their staff is nice and courteous. Beirut restaurant has valet parking too and Kamil has plenty of parking in front of the door

Had heard good things. Went here on a friday night. Some wait was expected. The good : We were seated soon and overall the staff were prompt and courteous. The ambience is nice, I loved the art on the walls where we were seated as well as the light fixtures. The food, the main reason we were there did not disappoint. It made sure Al Basha lived up to the reputation. Excellent kebabs - Shish and lamb chops were my favorite. Humus is so good here, probably best I ever had. Try humus and shawarma. Loved the combo. For veggies... Falafel, baba ganoush and humus was what I tried and simply loved it. Their drinks like mint lemonade are amazing. Expensive @ 4.99, but I gotta try it. The can improves : Rest room can be little cleaner. My experience was bad, maybe a one off. How about serving whole smoked jalapenos along with meat. That would solve the complaint I read about the meat being bland. I ll definitely go again!!!

This place used to be the best in that area. A must-stop. However, now it feels totally different. They started skimping on almost everything from ingredients to custommer experience to serving size to facilities cleanleness to staff personal hygiene to courteousness. Now, ingredients are third grade, and prices are higher. Staff, similar to most places in that area, is extremely unprofessional. The common denominator is, they treat customers like beggars; i.e., they make you feel like you are there because you need them not the other way around. They dont appreciate the fact that you are patronising their business. Im done with this place. They lost a generous customer. (150~200 average ticket)

very poor services, we drove 2 hours to get there and the service was really bad. the waiter was very unpolite, and he get even worse when he brought the appetizers without bread and i asked him for the bread. he started to just push things hard on our table. paid for water and never got it. and then at the end they brought they food and the order was wrong.i will never go there again. and if i can give them 0 star to rate them i will. اخلاق الموظفين مثل الزفت مع الزبون . يعني جلسنا على الطاوله او عملنا الاوردر او الاخ الي بياخذ الطللبات قام قدملنا المقبلات من غير خبز . سالت الويتر على الخبز او صار يعصب او يعاملنا معامله مو لائقه . انتظار طويل او بالاخير اجا الاكل كله غلظ ؟ مع الاسف

The restaurant is NOT clean...the restroom is a disaster, it is worth than a Porta Potty in a public park that has not been cleaned in a month. The service is mediocre at best, especially if you are a new customer, or not a large group. They prefer large groups and their regulars. You will be pushed to finish your meal and receive the check before you ask for it. The grilled mix is burnt, dry, and the ashes from the coal is all over the meat. One of their salad was served with sand, yes sand. Because they did not wash the parsley. I would not recommend this place before the owners correct the above concerns.

The food was super terrible, the open buffet had very little meat and the cuisines were cold and old. Probably leftover from a previous day. The fish were rotten and smelly. Finally I discovered they robbed me, in the receipt they added 33.15$ (automatic Gratuity). I didnt notice till I got home. I forgot to mention that the food was triple priced than the next door restaurants and the deserts were terrible. The whole family spat it including the kids whom supposed to like sweaty stuff.

Waited way too long to be seated and the place was 1/2 empty. The place was filthy. We finally got seated after 1/2 an hour, almost 10:00pm. There was a lazy kid in his undershirt (he acted like the owners son) who was a total womanizer. He was staring at the women up and down the whole time. DO NOT BRING YOUR WIFE OR A DATE TO AL-BASHA. The service was absolutely horrible. I got a major stomach ace from the chicken kabob. Nasty!

Place is almost always packed, thats got to tell you something is good in here. It really is a very good place. Friendly service, prompt --sometimes the waiters fall behind, but it really is because the kitchen cannot keep up. The food variety is very good, quality is excellent and more importantly consistent. The pita bread here is to die for, just simply dip it in olive oil or have it with the pickles, unbelievably freshly baked.
