I just came back from this so-called Thai restaurant. What a nightmare it was. I’m so sorry that I didn’t read the reviews before coming here. Not only was I not greeted at the door ( I let that go), but I experienced hands-down the worst service I have ever seen in my life. The appetizers were OK- nothing to write home about, and the server was at least friendly. I ordered a “marinated” chicken dish for my entre and was extremely displeased with it. The meat was dry, not well cooked, tasteless, unmarinated, and did not smell right. After taking one bite, I expressed this to the manager and asked if I could order another dish. The manager was an older woman who was extremely rude—she refused to take my dish back saying that “no one else has ever complained”. I told her that I am now complaining and she said “maybe something is wrong with you then”. I was completely taken aback by her flat out refusal to acknowledge my concern, her repeatedly saying that this is how the food should be. On top of that she directly insulted me. She then walked away without addressing the issue. I got up out of my seat, asked for the owner’s contact information, and she refused to give it to me saying “I doesn’t want to give it to you”. I am appalled that this restaurant is still in business with this type of manager running the show. It’s an excuse for a Thai restaurant with mediocre food at best and a down-right nasty manager

As vegetarians, my wife and I enjoy Thai food for its very flavorful choices. Ridge Thai is one of 3 Thai restaurants we have tried in the area and its food is by far the best as they serve our dishes seasoned with complex spices and mixed with just the right balance of salt and sweet. Though the physical atmosphere may have something to be desired not so our server who each time has served up a presence of peace, happiness and tranquility which vastly improves the enjoyment of a good meal. It has been about three months since our last visit to this restaurant and I am writing this review while my wife is getting ready for dinner at Ridge Thai. OOPS, time to go. Be well!

This is my "Go-to" Thai restaurant. The food is delicious, and consistent. The prices are reasonable. I recommend the crispy duck, in red curry, with bamboo shoots. I have eaten there many times, and my friends also rave about the Panang curry. I like the Thai beef salad as well. Its always hard to park in Ridgewood, and the space is small, so its not the place for a large party. Its a BYOB, and if you order take-out, they will walk it out to the car (as you double-park.) I hope you enjoy it!

the food is good but when I order for pickup, the lady who answered phone she was bad. I ordered one chicken pad thai and, one chicken pad see ew but she keep saying shrimp instead of chicken.. so I corrected her but she keep saying shrimp so I corrected her again but she get mad and insist that she said chicken(but she said shrimp). anyway she is stupid.

Gai yang chicken dish was great, it is a half chicken with a papaya salad on the side. Previously I had the crispy duck salad which has mango and pineapple. The prices here are very attractive for Ridgewood and the Thai iced drinks come with cutsy roses folded out if the straw cover. Great atmosphere too.

Horrible and rude service. Was rushed and treated poorly. Really? Like this is the only restaurant in Ridgewood!? Was here at 8:30pm. At around 9pm was told the kitchen woulf close in 15 minutes and then the waitress disappeared like should didnt want to take or order so we would leave. Not impressed.

This is the more casual of the two Thaiwanese restaurants in Ridgewood. The pricing is much better than Malee, but the atmosphere and size of the restaurant is less as well. A better lunch spot than a date spot, but the food is well priced for the town, consistent and tasty. I recommend.

This place provides horrible services. I have NEVER seen as rude as this owner (or manager) in my life. She literally YELLED at us because we chose the table to seat. She treated us with no manner at all. I would like to give 0 stars if I can.

Prior to another Thai place opening up around the Corner, I used to eat here once or twice a week. Great lunch specials, lovely wait staff. A little on the salty side, but delicious. Dinner gets really hectic. Id recommend lunch

Found that the food was excellent, loved it! Although not the hottest thai I have ever eaten, which left just a little to be desired. Also, the actual restaurant was tiny so I felt a little cramped. Overall very good place.

I have been dining at the establishment for about 3 years and I have never been disappointed once with my meal. The service is good and the food is even better. I highly recommend if anyone is interested in Thai cuisine.

This is my favorite Thai place in Ridgewood. Their green curry is always good. They have excellent appetizers, the shrimp is always good! Mostly do take out from here as the seating inside is super limited.

This is by far the best Thai restaurant in Ridgewood. The other restaurants dont hold a candle to their food quality. Theyre very inexpensive compared to the other restaurants. Will definitely be returning.

Possibly the best Pad Thai weve ever had. Service sucks but thats the price you pay for good Thai food. Never been disappointed.

My pad thai was pretty good. Unfortunately my friend found hair in his food.
