Usually is a good place to grab a quick bite to eat. I went in with my step daughter I order breakfast she ordered chicken Cesar salad mid way threw eating her salad she found a hair in it. Clearly was not her hair . The waitress was not nice about it it was taken off the bill but there was no apologies she sent another waitress back with the bill. Very dissatisfied with her service. Will not go back there again.

Amazing French toast and omelettes; service delightfully surly. Dont let the greasy spoon atmosphere scare you off. Was pleased to learn the owners will be keeping this location open once the original Atlantic City location is reopened. Note location is approximately six miles west of original Google Maps location. Restaurant is at intersection of White Horse Pike and Cologne Ave. in Galloway/Egg Harbor City.

Youd have to be a local to know about it, but its still busy in spite of its off-the-highway location. A tiny building dating back to the days when the Pike was the only way to the shore, Gilchrist churns out simple breakfast comfort food. The seasonal blueberry pancakes - made with fruit from just down the road - are the taste of a South Jersey summer.

Gilchrists blueberry pancakes are fantastic! They are unlike any pancake you have ever eaten before. Thin and almost crepe like. I cant enjoy pancakes anywhere else now... lol! Staff is friendly and service is quick. Tip heavily and make their day! They deserve it. The rt.30 cologne location now accepts credit cards!

Love theyre pancakes but a little pricey. Average eggs and below average breakfast potatoes. They dont have fresh juice which sucks. Always busy on weekends be prepared to wait for a table. The early bird gets the worm!

Best pancakes ever. They are light, buttery, and fluffy. The fresh fruit in them can make them a party in your mouth. Awesome place but the coffee needs an upgrade.
