Changed from Japanese to Chinese ownership recently - and you can tell the difference. If Im eating Japanese food, I want authentic (very fresh, carefully prepared and cooked) Japanese food, not a Chinese version of Japanese, which is what Nagano is now. Id rather pay more for quality food than a discounted price for less fresh fish. Service was wonderful however.

This used to be one of the few places around with authentic Japanese food. Then it went downhill...and boy has it come back, big time! From the All-You-Can-Eat specials (a great value with quality food) to their excellent sukiyaki, Nagano has weathered a storm and recovered. The only downside is that I cant practice my Japanese there as often anymore!

Stopped in here on a Monday on a whim. They had a sign outside advertising 15% off the entire bill! They offered complimentary hot sake which I gladly accepted. Ordered a bunch of special rolls, and they were all really fantastic! The prices were reasonable, and the portions good. I would eat here again, and recommend it to others. Delicious.

1 price order sheet-style all you can eat. You receive an order sheet which you can re-submit as many times as you want, but if you over order (do not eat a full item you request) you are charged for the waste. The sushi is very good and the staff is prompt and friendly. This establishment is BYOB.

Went here for NYE dinner. Im not a sushi guy, so I had the chicken teriyaki, which was delicious. We Had a decent sized party of about 12 and they accommodated us easily. The employees were very nice and Im pretty sure they let us stay after closing, which was very generous. It was a nice little find!

we have been going here for 3 years. It has been our favorite Japanese restaurant outside of NYC. They serve high quality sushi and excellent sukiyaki. The owner and staff are very polite and always offers seasonal tasting homemade dishes for free!

We tried the All You Can Eat deal, and it was fantastic. There are many choices, and the service is very fast and friendly. Of course you can still order from the regular menu, but I will definitely do the AYCE deal if you can.

Staff was very attentive. The Playboy roll was tasty, and entertaining to watch being prepared. And the selections on the all-u-can eat menu were great, tasty, and fresh. This was my first time here, but it wont be my last!

Not only one of the best place in the area for sushi, but also it is an all-you-can eat at a great price! I dont know how they do it, but it is our favorite sushi restaurant. BYOB is also very convenient.

Nagano is pretty good. Very tasty sushi in a quiet atmosphere. Can usually be seated right away. Ive been there for lunch and i have always had a pleasant experience and have always left satisfied.

One of the more underrated places in Morristown. All of my sushi take out comes from here on my way home from work. The traditional meals are also great, but nothing compared to the sushi.
