Ive been coming to Sens for quite a few years now, and wish I wrote a review sooner. This place deserves the publicity of high-praise, since it cant be easily seen from Route 1. It was only a freak accident I decided to order from here in 2007 after shopping at Home Depot - since that day theyve been my benchmark standard for what Asian food should be like. ALL their chicken entrees are prepared, by default, with large pieces of high quality pure white meat, NONE of that "filler breading" run-of-the-mill places use. Items on the menu are unique, the staff is friendly and caring, and the place exudes class. My favorites are Orange Chicken (not on the menu but they can make it), Ginger Chicken, Teriyaki Beef Skewers, Chicken Fried Rice and Lemongrass Chicken. When relatives visit, this is the #1 place Id take them! Honest and truly, THE BEST ASIAN FOOD AROUND!

I love Japanese and Chinese cuisine and was very excited to try Sens, however the California rolls and veggie rolls were decent...not the freshest that Ive had...the avacado in it was very mushy...eel sauce was not quite right...miso soup-literally tasted like water-no flavor!!! Salad was only lettuce with a very watered down ginger dressing-I wouldnt bother with either. Also had the general Tsos had about 8 red peppers in it- so alittle over the top on the heat the sauce tasted ok but was also watery instead of thicker. Fried veggie rice was the worst Ive ever had...it stunk like fish.If you like water, youll love this place.LOL I feel like I got ripped off. I wont ever eat here again.

No offense to the reviewer below, but I cant take any reviews of a Chinese restaurant seriously if one is basing it off General Tsos Chicken. Sens has GREAT food for those who are not merely into the Chinese take out version of Asian cuisine. Presentation is good, staff is attentive, portions are decent. The Chilean Sea Bass is wonderful, and the Chicken Bahamas/Pineapple fried rice are our favorites. We lived in Asia for 8-9 years, and we can safely say that Sens provides a good combination of the East and West in its restaurant.

The food is tasty, but I dont like the way the dumplings are burned at the bottom. Theres a little wait for some dishes to be replenished, and Im not asked at the beginning of my meal, would I like water as the rest of the costomers. I been going to this place for a long time, and most times I tip well.

Went for the lunch buffet. Decent selection of about a dozen items. Sushi was very limited and never replenished so get there early. Seafood and chicken on the buffet was good. Price is standard but no free refills on drinks except for water, this can get expensive.

I love coming here to eat because it is such a relaxing and cozy restaurant...dim lighting, nice ambience, and the turtle/fish pond is CUTE! I highly recommend this place, as the food is more interesting than the other Asian restaurants Ive been to in NJ.

The food was excellent (both cooked food and sushi) with a very quiet, nice atmosphere. We came at an off time so the server was a bit disorganized, but the service was fast nonetheless. A nice little spot for some good, well-priced Asian food.

We eat a lot which is why it was expensive. We usually sit at the sushi bar and the sushi guy knows our names! they are great here and the fish is the freshest in this town. forget the all you can eat places Sens has the freshest fish PERIOD!

50% off sushi? Hell yeah! We go there every month. Average price of a whole roll is around $2,70. They dont skimp on the sushi and they are more a restaurant rather than bistro... Their LoMein is amazing! And guys, BYOB!!!

Sens has a great weekday lunch buffet. It doesnt have a huge variety like some buffets, but what it has is much better quality. I freguent this restuarant for the biffet about once a month. I recommend it.

I think the value for this restaurant is overall good. It is not the cheapest place, but its hard to come by cheap sushi. Ive been pleased with the food overall from the sushi, to chinese dishes.

I thought the sushi at Sens was quite good, as was the teriyaki tofu. Service was fine until the restaurant got crowded, but then got spotty. But despite that I expect to go back frequently.
