I gave this place a try, and was quite disappointed. I ordered their house specialty, Green Apple Chicken. It was extremely greasy, burnt beyond words, and lacking any sauce whatsoever - just glistening oil. The chicken had no flavor at all, and had at least a .5" radius of breading (literally) encasing each teeny-tiny piece of chicken to give the illusion of substance. It should be noted that the staff was very friendly though, which was the only plus to ordering from here. I would not go back again.

Went for Sushi - Ordered hot tea while reading the menu. No spoons??? Asked for spoons and they brought plastic utencils. Not a good sign. Asked about the Sushi: they dont do that anymore! Very dissappointed, but based on the service the sushi would have been bad too. I think its yet another new owner who said only Chineese food now. We decided to leave and they charged us $4.50 for two cups of hot water (tea bags left unopened). Dont go there.

every dish we ordered is deep-fried. Even for Kong Po Chicken and shredded beef. Later a friend told me that my BF and I should have asked to look at the menu designed for Chinese and order from there. :-( Because all my Chinese friends give a high praise to this place, my BF and I will give another try sometime soon, and we will make sure to ask for the menu for Chinese not for American.

Excellent food and service. I attended a dinner meeting that was held in their alcove. Each dish was perfectly plated and beautiful to look at. We had their lobster which was flavorful and a joy to eat. I loved their oysters in brown sauce which were perfectly prepared. I like that they have dishes that are unique to them.

this place is brand new and it shows in how clean and friendly everyone is. Went in for take-out and was treating with warm, friendly service from the staff and owner. Food was delicious - very fresh. Price is standard for sushi. This is one of the only places outside of New Brunswick to get sushi. Highly recommended

This place is so much better than what was there before. Im so glad they moved in. The sushi is amazing and the chinese food is pretty darn good too. The only negative is that it is a little pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it. I definitely recommend this restaurant - try the banana mama rolls.

This place makes almost-authentic Sichuan/Hunan style Chinese food. I say "almost" I mean it definitely tastes like authentic Chinese food, but some dishes are not made in their traditional ways. 4 stars because this is the best Chinese food you can get in this area, south of Raritan River.

We recently ate at the Green Apple Japanese & Chinese Cuisine restaurant and thought the service was quite good. Our group had a fun time at the restaurant. We stayed for a while and did not feel "rushed" at all. We will have another group celebration there for sure.

First, I dont know what the people from 2007 are talking about, this restaurant just opened in late (December-ish) of 2009. That said, the food is good, the sushi is apparently good (so I am told, I dont eat it), and the prices are decent. What more can you ask for?

This is THE place to go if you want authentic spicy chinese food. Staff are very friendly (their English may not be great, but hey, authentic chinese remember?). Serving time is fast and portion is decent sized. This is my personal favorite restaurant in Edison.

I just went there when I saw an advertisement of it. At first sight, I thought it was going to be ok but when I walked in, I was surprised by the friendly service by the staff. The food was amazing and the sushi is excellent. I will definitely come back.

Went there last night with no idea of what to order. The hostess recommended a dish that we enjoyed thoroughly. The portions were surprisingly large for the price as well. Will definitely be returning to try out other dishes as well as their sushi.

Great food. Large portions, served hot! I had Buddhas soup (veg) and boiled beef with chillies (spicey, with onions, cabbage, celery+). Very flavorful, more than i could eat. Lunch tomorrow! Not my 1st time and, Ill be back.

Awesome Food, Authentic Chinese cuisine, they even have classic Chinese round tables!!! The Service is quick and they are very Customer Service Oriented! Bring your family, you wont regret it!

The dishes are good, and they are traditional Chinese food. I like it, but I think the beef was not that fresh in beef noodle soup. Others are pretty good though!
