My wife put in an order for my birthday cake. The reason we went with papa ganache is that they make vegan cakes and our son is allergic to soy. So she ordered a vegan, non soy cake a few days before the party and was told that itd be ready the afternoon of the party. Lo and behold, she goes to he store and its not there. They found the order but it was never made. She said that all the bakers are gone and that we can purchase another premade cake but they cant guarantee it doesnt have soy. The whole point of my wife ordering a specific non-soy cake was so that we didnt have to worry about allergic reactions in my son. Then they said that we can purchase cupcakes which some of them does not have soy. So my wife thought oh I guess its better than nothing. So she bought them. Full price. No discount. No thought on papa ganaches part to give any sort of discount for their own mistake. So my wife came back home with them and told me the what had happened. So of course I was furious. I called them and told them the situation that we ordered a specific cake and if we cant get a cake, I want to return the cupcakes. So they obliged. I went to the store to return the cupcakes. They apologized for the mistake and was willing to bake another cake but it would take an hour and a half. So I called my wife and she told me that they told her the bakers were gone so how would they bake another cake? And why didnt they bring this option up to her when she was there 30mins to an hour ago. Things just didnt add up. So I declined the cake since we needed it within the hour and just wanted a refund. 1. Ive never ordered a cake from a bakery and not receive it. Whats the point of making an order ahead of time if you arent going to fulfill the order? 2. Ive never heard of any store or company not try to help make amends by not offering any sort of discount or compensation. My wife had to pay full price for the cupcakes. Really? Is that how to keep your customers happy? 3. How can you say to my wife that the bakers are gone for the day but when I get there you have the audacity to say that you can bake a cake in an hour and a half. Why wouldnt you think to bring this up to my wife when she was there about an hour ago which would had made sense in terms of timing. Obviously, they were lying about something. In short, as a warning to everyone else that orders from papa ganache, you better call ahead a day or two to make sure the order will be fulfilled. I cant believe I have to even tell people to do this. And it seems like customer retention and satisfaction is not one of their priorities. So dont be surprised if they do nothing for you. At least on the first time you complain. As for me and my family, I will be taking my business elsewhere and warning others through social media. Thanks for nothing papa ganache! --------------------------- UPDATE!!! So Papa Ganache called my wife this morning, the day after the incident. My wife missed the call so they left a message asking her to call back. She told me about it so we were both thinking...okay they are going to apologize for what had happened. Thats good of them. Its the least they can do. But when my wife called Gina back, she had no remorse, no apologies, NOTHING. All she wanted to talk to her about was confirming what had happened and telling her she would get her money back (umm...isnt it obvious that we should get our money back since we didnt get anything from the store?). In the entire conversation that they had, she did not apologize once. No "im sorry that this has happened.". No "it wont happen again". Absolutely nothing. Im shocked by this. You would think its common courtesy to just say sorry about what had happened. But nope. I guess they really do not care about their customers. Good luck with that, Papa Ganache.

I ordered a GF vanilla cake for my friends baby shower, she has a gluten intolerance and her mother and I are vegan so it was win-win. The cake was decorated with a blue stork and alphabet cubes. It was gorgeous and the mom-to-be loved it! the other guests were turned off the moment they heard it was Gluten free and worse yet VEGAN! The guests who were "daring" enough try it were pleasantly surprised it tasted really good (not a shocker here)! Only minus was that the icing is super sweet and plentiful so some had to be scraped off to taste the flavorful cake. Thank you Papa Ganache! **Side note: make sure you order early enough and keep deadlines in mind when ordering because I missed ordering a pumpkin pie because I got busy and forgot to call. HOWEVER they did tell me they were making extra of both regular vegan and GF vegan that I could stop in and try my luck which I appreciated**

Pretty much the best vegan place in the whole wider area, it is especially great for all the sweets that they have there. Me and my wife try to come around as often as we are in the area, since we live an hour away. We decided to not have a big cake for our wedding in favor of a whole asortiment of smaller cakes, muffins and other goodies from this place. It was the best thing ever, all the sweets were decimated at the wedding and everyone had nothing but praise after. Very friendly staff, they had everything ready for us on the day to pick up. Definitely recommend to everyone to try for yourself!

They have a large selection, and admittedly I only tried a couple things, however the flavor profile didnt pack the punch I wanted. The eggplant parm samdwich had a lackluster sauce and the bread was just ok. The mac and cheese was creamy, but isnt fresh. You have to pick it out of the refrigerated section, and have them microwave it if you want to eat it asap. I also tried the creme brulee cupcake and choclate banana pb cupcake. The cake was moist, but I didnt like the frosting, not much actual flavor. Overall though Im really glad a place like this exists, and would visit to try other goodies.

Papa Ganache has very good vegan cupcakes/cakes/etc. Im vegan and have friends with nut allergies; they made a very good cake for my birthday! Papa Ganache has lots of selections for flavors. I dont usually like chocolate cake but their chocolate cake is AMAZING (better than dairy in my opinion). I got crème brûlée cake - which was pretty good too :). My only complaints are : A. So. Much. Sugar. B. Super expensive C. Icing is vegetable lard I believe, so it cant really compare to dairy/egg cake Good for a treat, but definitely loaded with fat and sugar.

I have been to Papa Ganache a few times over the last few years, and have always left with a smile on my face, but I was there yesterday with my mom and we left with quite a haul of goodies. Im here now because the apple pie that I just enjoyed with my lunch was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I immediately hopped on here to write a review. It was THAT good. Whether youre vegan, gluten free, sensitive to dairy, or just looking for something incredible to try, this is the place for you. Get in the car and go. Seriously.
