I am generally a fan of Bonefish Grill, and we frequent the location in Middletown, NJ, which is usually very good to great. We had some business in the area of this new location, so we made 8pm reservations there for dinner. From the moment we got in the door, I felt like it was a letdown, and this was mainly due to the staff. Everyone from the hostess to our server seemed like it was their first night in the restaurant business. The service in general was fair to poor, the food wasnt quite as good as Middletown, and there were a couple of other issues like spilled food still on the floor nearby our table, and my decaf coffee getting served warm but not hot. I have no intention of going back to this location, but will definitely still go to Middletown.

I have dined at Bonefish before but never came into a restaurant as busy as this one. I made a reservation at 7 on a Saturday and my table was not ready. A wonderful employee offered us beverages while we waited and chatted with us about the menu. I thought she was a manager and was shocked when she told me she was a hostess. She even rushed to clean the table that was reserved for us. Our server was pleasant as well. Great Service! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I felt a little rushed, otherwise everything was wonderful. The manager came up and introduced himself which was nice.

We used to go to Bonefish a lot when the one in Manalapan first opened. The place was new and clean. Service was good. We liked the bread (complementary), Bang Bang Shrimp (both as an appetizer or tacos), Fish and Chips. Occasionally, they had Lobster Tail promotions and you got a good deal. We stopped going for lunch when they got rid of the lunch menu and served the same menu all day. We did not like to eat/pay too much for lunch and for the same dish, it was more expensive on the dinner menu. Also, they stopped serving the Bang Band Shrimp Po-Boy sandwich , which was my favorite dish.

I just want to start buy saying I was very impressed with the restaurant. My waiter Gym was great he was on top of everything. The manager Dale offered to buy my and my fiance desert since there was a little mix up with the order. Which to me and my fiance was no big deal things happen but Gym took it personal and cared. You can tell he takes pride in his job as well as Dale. Sam who sat us was very respectful and the whole experience was amazing. THANK YOU BONE FISH!

Love all locations but so happy this one is close to home. Im able to have a great experience no matter who i go with. The other day my boyfriend and i went and had a nice dinner after work, and Im a vegetarian and there was a side with vegetables and sausage mixed and they substituted it after they already gave it to me when i realized i cant eat it. So nice and great managers.

It seems like there was a time when Bonefish served better quality food. given that they charge prices that rival fine dining restaurants I expected more from my recent visit. while the service was fine, food left me dissatisfied. the Civiche seafood tasted bland and like rubber. the chillean Seabass was not what I expected.

Over priced corporate idea of a sea food restaurant. While the quality is similar, the portions are smaller compared to other local sea food restaurants and the prices are much higher. Save your money and find a nice local place in the area. A better experience awaits.

I went to Bonefish Grill today for lunch. It was excellent. They have a new lunch menu which is very reasonable in price. I had a bowl of fish corn chowder and two Bang Bang Shrimp tacos. It was delicious. I definitely would go there again.

Tuesday Happy Hour is fantastic! Hosts AND Servers are pleasant and professional. Food comes out hot and is truly tasty! Mid-week specials are worth the trip! Big ups to a seafood restaurant that makes a great steak too! Im a big fan!

Corporate chain restaurant that features view of parking lot and traffic noise, portions controlled to the fraction of an ounce and inexperienced staff. The food is nothing special. Not worth waiting in line or the prices charged.

They ran out of signature soup,how is that possible ? The bowl soup is so shallow I have no doubt it is the same size as a cup but more money.Ths staff is great I would not recommend this restaurant !!!

Not great , but not bad. Had the filet mignon and the sea bass. Sea bass tasted like it was frozen before they cooked it. The filet was good tho. Service was nice. And the bartender was sweet.

My favorite chain restaurant. Great wine offerings by the glass. The fish is consistently fresh and delicious. The mussels beat many of the finer Italian restaurants.
