The best Edo(Tokyo) style sushi in north Jersey...period! Ask sushi chef Otai about special items often named after regular customers. Extremely fresh fish. Excellent apps and entrees. Great Soba...They will even make "off the menu" items (i.e. Oden, Ankymo, etc.). Best restaurant in Madison.

Having worked here for a short while I can say that the sushi is top notch. I love all the appetizers that are offered too, as they are very traditional. The owners are Japanese and are committed to serving in a manner very similar to that which Japan has to offer. Highly recommended.

Otais place is amazing. By far the freshest food available. We drive 40 mins and its worth it every time. Cant say enough about the staff, atmosphere, cooks and chef Otai. A must if youre in or near the Madison area. A must even if youre not in the area.

There is no better sushi/sashimi in New Jersey. Food arrived quickly and the presentation was very pleasing. Cooked food is tops too. Friendly and eager staff are professional and do whatever it takes to please their clients.

We have been here a number of times. I enjoy the sushi and my wife gets one of the entrees. Everything has always been very good and the sushi is very fresh. The staff is very friendly and the service is great.

Great restaurant. The Sushi was amazing. I had the Chow Roll and the Madison Sweetheart Roll and they were both excellent. The decor was amazing and the service was great. Overall this was a very good restaurant.

It used to be that you could get in this restaurant, which always baffled me since the sushi is excellent and the service responsive. It has been discovered, so be prepared. But you will not be disappointed.
