I think it speaks for itself that even with all of the fake "1 star reviews" put against this restaurant - that it still has a decent rating. (Although Aji deserves a 4-5 star rating...) The customer service is wonderful. Id moved away for a while and even after months of not being there, I was remembered the moment I stepped back into the restaurant. They even remembered what we like to drink, etc. Very impressive. The Rainbow Roll is my absolute favorite, but all of their custom rolls are to die for. BIG, be warned. You cant just pop these in your mouth. But they are very very good. The only thing to watch out for ... if you are here for lunch... ask for the check the moment they bring you your food. Or better yet. Ask for the check the moment you order. I have been known to take an involuntary 1.5 - 2 hour lunch due to waiting for a check. (But the next week, I was back again. The food and smiles is too much to stay away from. :-) )

I moved here about 4 years ago and luckily found Aji quickly. I started going rather regularly as my coworkers and I would go often for lunch. Within a few weeks the hostess (owner?) already knew my name and was very very nice everytime I went. She actually ended up giving my gf a vase of flowers she liked while there. Now to the food, I have eaten at some pretty nice and expensive sushi places in NYC and while AJI may not have the absolute best fish you can find, it has always been vastly superior to any other places around Morristown (including Sushi Lounge) with fresh and flavorfilled sushi. Love the atmosphere, service, and food. Go if you get a chance. Did I mention BYOB, save that cash flow and bring a bottle with you as I usually do

We have been going to Aji for the last year at least once a week and have had nothing less than excellent service, fresh and delicious sushi that beats out all the competition hands down. I’d bet money this it’s one person leaving all the one stars with false reviews – it’s probably a competitor. Sharon, the hostess is always pleasant and accommodating as is the rest of the staff. But most of all the sushi is second to none. My family wouldn’t even eat sushi until we took them to AJI – now they are addicted!

Been going to Aji since it opened. Sharon the owner is very friendly. The service is always hospitable though when they get busy it can be slow...the sushi and hot foods however are so superior to the rest of the Morristown area that it is worth the wait. The fish is always fresh. The menu is innovative and the flavors are superb. Try the treasure island on the appetizer menu as a main course for a light lunch - its great.

You wouldnt know it by looking to its exterior but this place serves up some of the best sushi in the area. Sushi rolls are LARGE and will fill you up. Prices are great and the ambiance is quiet with a friendly wait staff. Would have given it 5 stars except I was once served spoiled eel in an eel roll and the service tends to be slow so be prepared to wait if dining in.

I am never disappointed at this place. It is a cozy atmosphere (it does not seat too many) and the sushi is the best in the area. It is a great place for date night and you can save a little $ because it is BYOB!

Whoever is giving the one stars has been reported. This kind of targeting is clearly from a competitor who is jealous of Aji Sushis success. Aji Sushi is my favorite restaurant in the area. WOnderful!
