I have to say as a person in the service industry myself, I was absolutely disappointed with my experience at this place today. After a short wait, I was seated at a table on the sun deck. We were greeted by David C. And asked about our drinks. Not long after the server returned with a bottle of beer and a sangria on a tray with two small bowls of coleslaw. The server proceeded to spill the sangria all over the lap of my friend. He never did more than let us know that this was the first time it has happened. No real apology. He then left the ice, straw, and lemon on the floor at my feet....for my entire dining experience. I understand accidents happen but there was no touch of the table by management either to see if things were ok. We placed a pretty hefty order....appetizers and then meals. Our meals came to the table before the appetizers. Again no apology. No touch by management. The bill was brought to the table with no gratitude or apology for the issues that we experienced. I understand establishments bring on seasonal help but after spending over $100 for lunch, i really would have expected better service. I dine out often and I cant remember the last time I had such a lack of empathy in a server. The management staff should do a much better job of taking the temperature of their tables so that they do not lose more customers to this type of thing.

We went here on our 5 year anniversary today. For starters the service here was atrocious. The waitress/waiters are either 16 or 80. The older lady we had was a nice women, but shouldnt be a waitress. She forgot my husbands chowder, didnt respond with "your welcome" anytime we thanked her, didnt even ask how the food was. The chowder we had was very good, it was the only thing we got that was delicious. I ordered sea scallops, that come with "vegetables and potato wedges" my vegetable was carrots- maybe they were sun-dried? They looked like a dried carrot, my so called potato wedges was green; wither thats from the oil or because it was almost time for the dinner menu and they was sitting there all day, I dont know but was nasty. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and it was like chewing rubber bands. My husband ordered a prime rib dip sandwich. There was certainly NO prime rib, it was a roast beef deli style, not good. I called and spoke with "Steve" the manager which basically told me he never has complaints on the prime rib and asked if I returned the calamari. Our waitress literally came to the table 2 times. Said he will "take care of us" when we come in next time. There will NEVER be a next time. Our anniversary was ruined (dinner wise) $70 down the drain... Wouldnt recommend!

Excellent value. We got picked up by the owner from the Seastreak, and sat outside on the terrace. Very nice staff and lovely views. Our waitress was great, and all the staff made a big deal for our family birthday. It was fun. Service was so fast too! The food was great, and tons of it. We shared one huge mug of New England clam chowder (white), and the mega mug dessert, plenty for 4 people to have a taste of everything. We got a souvenir mug to take home, it was so much fun. For appetizers, we got the fried calamari, the crispest ever, with plenty of tentacles, yum. Huge portion. 3 of us barely made a dent in it. (one of us does not eat calamari-boy did they miss out!) The marinara for dipping was very good. For entrees, we had 1-the chef;s special mixed grill, shrimp, salmon and mahi over seasoned rice 2-1 fish and chips 3 and 4-2 combo platters, 1 broiled, 1 fried The fish was pollock-melt in your mouth good-the shrimp and fried clams were great. Tons of food=needed a kitty bag to take home. Sides included in the price were roasted red potatoes, cole slaw, fresh veggies and biscuits that were very light and fluffy. All delicious. The lunch platters were incredibly reasonably priced for all the food you get. Highly recommend! and will go again soon.

Besides the nice view and friendly service. The food was way below average and way overpriced. Not only was quality bad but they were very strict with sharing a plate of food. I couldnt order twin lobster, tonights (8/5/2013) special, because it was against the restaurant policy to share a plate with my girlfriend. So I order the Paella thinking we were going to get a good mix of seafood. There were hardly any variety. Just 4 Oyster and 4 baby clams mix with one piece of squid and 2 shrimp and a lot of parboiled rice (cheapest quality rice). The taste was ok but still was not worth the money. Also I order lobster tail with the paella which is $14 extra and we only got half a tail. I will not go back to this restaurant ever again. My friends got tilapia and they were also disappointed with their food as well.

This is a classic family restaurant where the kids are just living off the familys Legacy. I hate to say it but everything needs improvement: The food is lacking the love and passion that you expect to find in a $20+ dish. The service was even more disappointing then the food! We had to ask the waiter for every refill we got... She definitely didnt know her menu and just seemed to feel like us being there gave her more work. The pricing is high but would be bearable if the food and serviced lived up to it. Overall I was very disappointed and felt like I let my faimly down by taking them here. They came from the mid-west so I wanted to show them some good east coast seafood - but apparently not.

Where do I start. It looked like a nice place on the water, but when we got our fried calamari appetizer it was bland and rubbery. The lobster bisque came out and tased more like gravy. The seafood sampler, the salmon and the fried shrimp all came out as bland as the appetzer. I asked to talk to the manager and he told us they dont season any of their fried foods, but rather leave it to you. CRAZY!! I go to a restraunt to have well seasoned food and for 25-30 dollars a plate I expect for some effort to have gone into it. I must say the poor waitress was very freindly and appologetic. My opinion stay away from this place and go anywheres else.!!!!

I hope the management have addressed their oven that broke last Saturday night. Secondly, and more importantly, that they have improved their process of informing customers of what is going on. We put in our order at 8:10pm and it wasnt until 9:45pm that the manager finally came to our table and said our food was never coming and we had to leave. It was our first time there and until we hear that their customer service has changed we can only share negative reviews of a restaurant that seemingly does not seem to hold that kind of poor service. We drove home with great disappointment and empty stomachs.

We went to bahrs for my friends bday and ordered the shrimp platter the coleslaw tasted like it went bad and I brought it up to the waitress and she could care less. I have been to this restaurant before and had great food and great service. Both the food and service were a big disappointment and will not bother to go back. They should be aware of their staff and make it a point to care about customers concerns and whether they may get food poisoned. Apparently they arent concerned about who they have working for them which is a representation of BAHRS landing.
