Ive been eating at this restaurant for years-through different owners & have never complained about the food until now! Ordered two salads-one chef salad & one spinach salad. My guest ordered the chef salad--the roast beef, ham & cheese on the chef salad was sour, smelled bad, & the manager still charged me $7.99 for the chef salad that was not eaten. Also, my guest had one bite of the cold cuts & was sick the rest of the day. I had no complaints about the spinach salad, but the prices are more expensive than they used to be. I was outraged that the manager still charged me for the rotten chef salad & only discounted $3.00 for their rotten food!

This place used to be the best family restaurant in the area. Great food/drink, terrific service, and nice surroundings. Since it changed hands, the food/drink and service are still good, but the surroundings are less than desirable. Some of the furnishings are ripped and past their time. There is a foul odor near the hostess stand which is only a few yards from the rest rooms. Smells like a backed up sewer. We always liked this place, but have stopped going due to the smell (not best just before dinner or lunch). I hope they address this .

Great wait staff , parts of my salad on their last day . Its a wonderful place to grab a quick meal . The food is reasonably priced and service very friendly and awesome . Im only giving three stars because a quarter of my salad was nearly on its way out for freshness . However the soup was excellent and time spent there with a friend really great. Its a convenient meeting place and nostalgic as a lunch staple in the area .

What happened to this place ? It was booming in the 1990s. The wait times were often an hour on weekend nights, back then. Anyway, I ordered a French dip sandwich - it was full of grizzle.... sent it back in exchange for a burger.... the burger had almost no flavor. Im someone who almost never sends food back. This place used to be famous for its burgers ! Its just very sad to me.

I make it a point to stop here when I am in the area. I love it. Just a nice comfortable place, nothing fancy, good service and the food is consistently superior. The burgers do not come with a slab of cold cheese, but a cheddar sauce that kicks butt, and the clams, mussels & all seafood are dynamite.

Kids eat free Tuesdays and Thursdays. Nuff said. But the food is awesome. Burgers are top notch. Some of the items on the menu may miss, but honestly there are several items that are outstanding and great value.

The service at the bar is tremendous. Friendly and good food. Chicken bruschetta wrap was awesome. Havent had it in years but just as good as always
