The place has that cozy old diner feel to it but could definitely benefit from some cleaning. The staff was very friendly and sweet. Although there was a young boy and a small child serving the tables and bringing out food. I ordered the fried shrimp which was delicious and for $15, which I thought was a little pricey at first, I actually got several large fried shrimp. My coffee was a little weak though. My dad got a milkshake and they give you a little extra in the tin which is always nice. Food came out pretty quick. The owner was very nice and was asking us about the giants vs jet game we had just came back from. I would definitely come back to try breakfast since we stopped in for a late night meal after the football game.

Avoid! This place is a dung hole. I was the only customer (should have been the first clue I was in for a bad meal) on a Tuesday at 7:30pm. I walked in and the only other person was a woman sitting at a table watching what I can only guess was the Spanish language version of Jerry Springer. It was turned up to 11. Once I found a table at the other end of the diner, the woman got up and brought a menu. The food was passable -- I had a salad and meatloaf. The service was pretty bad, the waitress never really came back, despite the fact I was the only customer the entire time. Its rundown. The service is horrible. The food is average. Go elsewhere.

From what I read in the reviews I dont know what diner they were at. This was my second time being here and it was a great experience. Yeah its a local spot but isnt that what you want local not some conglomerate. The staff friendly made you feel at home and the food just one word, awsome. Just cause it looks like a sh** hole it doesnt mean it is.

Food is kinda pricey. Food thats cheap is served in small portions. My fried were ridiculously greasy. My fried calamari was way fried way too long. The BLT was like a LT. With 2 inches of lettuce. Water tasted worse than tap water. Staff barely speaks english and are not friendly at all. Never going back.

Very good turkey burger very good beef burger and very good fried shrimp. The only reason I give it four stars is because the place is kind of old but it still looks good. The service was very good. The owner is blind and very friendly and amiable. It did not affect the service at all.

Old. Falling apart. Perfect. This diner hasnt seen an update since it opened and thats what gives it so much charm. Small on the outside, spacious inside. Food was perfect at an even better price. Colorful patrons and staff made this an enjoyable stop for breakfast.

Been here several times over the years. Truck parking for a few rigs. Food is awesome, service is great. Locals are pleasant and interesting to talk with. This diner is where they filmed the old Bounty paper towels commercials with "Rosie"

Food is well prepared. Owner (i believe) is blind but very social and physically aware. His children pitch in and are GREAT (not only) at assisting and working as well as adding a youthful twist to the stainless spoon restaurant.

Bendix is just special. You may find some special people there. The food is very good and the service is fast and you enjoy being served from the lady Eva. Going there you will find yourself warm and special, too. Give it a try!

Ive only gone here for breakfast, so this review and rating is based solely on that. 5 star all the way. Very friendly staff, always a smile on their face. Food is phonomenal. Highly recommend this place.

I love this diner! The owner is a sweetheart and the staff are so friendly :) Ive been going there for 5 years now, mostly for breakfast and for holiday dinners. Ignore the run down look and try it out!
