We hosted a graduation party by renting out the top space of this restaurant. Really happy to say that the food was delicious, and the service was very professional and timely. From planning to decorations to organization, Arun [the stores owner] was always there to help. He went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests and was a real hit amongst the guests. Overall, this restaurants excellent service and incredible food at a very affordable cost made our party all the more wonderful, and we really thank Arun for that. I believe I speak for all 30 or so of us when I say that we highly recommend New Delhi Palace to anyone looking to plan small events for the Indian and non-Indian community. We look forward to working with Arun again in planning future celebrations.

DO NOT waste your time or money here. I ordered delivery via the Beyond Menu application. New Delhi decided that they did not want to deliver tonight but they neglected to tell me about that. Which is funny because they had my phone number, my hotel and room number. But they didnt care to inform me that I would not be eating this evening. So after an hour, my food hadnt arrived. I called the restaurant to inquire. No only did they not apologize for the mistake, all the guy could say was, "third party, third party." Eat elsewhere, at least youll have food in your belly.

Best indian restaurant in Nj hands down!!! Before other restaurants looked a lot more nicer, but since they relocated to main st in hackensack, its not only a nice atmosphere, but its also my favorite place to eat for dinner 2-3 times a week. Must try the palak paneer!! Who ever is saying its the worst food must have serious personal issues with the owner or something. Im hispanic by the way and indian food is my #1 favorite. Also most restaurants are greasy and here its not! Every dish has its unique taste unlike others.

From a take out perspective the place is very good, prompt friendly service and the food arrives hot. Eating at the restaurant is another experience entirely. The decor is out dated by 20 years but very pleasant at the same time. Its an odd feeling being the only people in the restaurant but it has its benefits (quick food, excellent service and fast drink refills). They are closed on Monday but the parking lot looks empty the rest of the week too. I hope the business picks up.

The worst vegetable biryani(subzi biryani) we ever had especially my kid didnt even want to look at it. . Because its bunch of non gobi pieces and cucumber slices directly added without proper cooking just with flavoured rice (I have taken the pictures for proof) which was cooked and send within 15mins from the ordered time.. I STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT TO GO AND TASTE VEGETABLE BIRYANI from This NEW DELHI PALACE

Very authentic, well balanced, spiced dishes. They used to be in Teaneck, where the scumbag landlord hiked the rent, so they moved to Hackensack, where they were able to get a place with good parking. The place is clean and well run. Yes, they could have gotten swankier and more expensive digs in Tenafly or Englewood cliffs. Im glad that they opted instead to provide great food at reasonable prices.

Food here is amazing, I have been many times here. Food was awesome i had paneer butter masala and my friends had chicken biryani. They had buffet tooo which is worth. They make good kheer too. They also had good breads. We usually dont find Indian restaurants in hackensack and there are very few here, but this is the good one and every one should give a try.

What a horrible restaurant, worst Indian food i have ever had. They have $15 off on $30 Yelp deal which seems like scam to me because i bought this deal and Yelp charged me $15 and while paying they reduced the bill by $15 so in reality there was no deal, filed the dispute against them just now.

Overpriced mediocre food. The food quality has been degrading ever since the restaurant opened. Decent sized restaurant and average buffet. Lot of parking space. Owner needs to rethink pricing and quantity. 1 entree feeds 1.5 people.

We had sunday buffet. The spread was very good. Food is tasty and not too greasy. One of the best Indian buffets in NJ and definitely in Hackensack. Dont waste your $$ at Tandoori chef. It is overpriced.
