I have been a regular customer for at least 15 years. Something recently seems amiss in the establishment. Second to last time I visited, approximately 3 and a half weeks ago, I ordered my usual, and the spicy tuna roll had brown- tinged tuna. I complained. The owner retorted "Its fine, I just ate it for my lunch". I was the last customer that day for the lunch shift. THE TABLES TURNED FOR THE WORST: I visited Friday,6/30/17; took pic of the sushi chef, sent it to a friend. I digress. The wife I have not seen in months, the sushi chef is new. Ordered crab sprout salad, sashimi lunch. Something was a bit off... 48 hours later: 104.5 fever Vomiting Diarrhea Cramping 911; to HUMC, were I spent 5days diagnosed with severe SALMONELLA!!! IN QUARANTINE!! I gave one star so I could post this warning. Released from hospital a few hours ago and STILL have diarrhea that may last for MONTHS?!?!! DONT GO TO MYOSHI. THERE DAYS ARE OVER AND THEYVE SUNK TO A NEW LOW. PS When ordering the seaweed salad first, Owner told me it was "STILL FROZEN"???????

Ive gone here a few times and always had a good experience... The prices are reasonable and the quantity and quality of the food is good. As for sushi freshness, I think its fine, what I did notice is that some of the fish isnt ice cold, which some may mistake for not being fresh. If the fish isnt fresh, believe me you would get sick, and Ive eaten there enough to know its fresh. I normally order the Filet Mignon Odd Couple which comes with a bonazna of food (Filet, Dumplings, Carrots, Sashmi, Sushi, Fried Chicken, rice, and salad or soup.) The sauce on the steak is amazing, very tasty - probably has tons of sugar but once in a while its good to treat yourself. The staff are friendly, no problems here. I went at 8:30PM on a sunday and the places was reasonably packed. They only take Amex which works great for me as thats my preference, beware if you dont have that card. Decor is nice.

The owners are very racist especially the husband! He acts as if black people cant afford anything and he yells at you across the room instead of coming to your table to talk to you. He greets all the white customers and walks them to the door but on the other hand he doesnt even say good bye to black people. The food here isnt great but its edible. I definitely had better! I will not be eating here ever again!!

I have eaten at Miyoshi over the years. It used to be great. Did it change hands? On arrival the waitress was putting makeup on for ten minutes. Tempura was formless, tasteless and colorless. Sushi was so - so. I was with my daughter ( a CIA graduate who currently cooks at Oceana, a three star seafood restaurant off Rockefeller Center). It was such a disappointment. Dont go!

Great place for sushi at reasonable prices. Definitely off the beaten path. Been going here for 7 years, great sushi (shogun combo), soups and teriyaki chicken.

Its Authentic! Loved it. Great customer service great food. Just be aware they only take cash or American Express cards. Definitely plan on going back.
