Horrible customer service. Went on October 4, 2016. I went and ordered two steak teriyaki. Upon returning home I found out that the steak was blue (not cooked) when I ordered it medium well. I drove back and asked them to cook it more and right away the manger acted like I was in the wrong but said ok and cooked it more. He said the reason it was not cooked properly was because I had asked for the sauce on the side. 10 minutes later he comes back and it looks like it was overcooked so I tried it and tore it and showed it to him. He again states because its because the sauce was on the side. I asked him, "What does the sauce being on the side have to do with the temperature of the steak? He then decided to grab my food from my dish, that I had already paid for and tried to show me that it looked medium rare. I then asked him for a new order since he had touched my food. He replied no. I asked for a refund and he said that he wouldnt give me one. I dont know any restaurant that will not give a refund. Btw the steak teriyaki was like 20 for one so that would be 40 dollars. He then went on to state that I was a horrible person. I had ordered three times before from this restaurant and the steak was cooked alright. My goal was to get a steak teriyaki that was edible. Horrible customer service and very pricy for scranton area

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Went there for lunch with two friends...place was nearly empty. The young waiter brought out my two friends food first, I sat and watched them eat for a good 20 minutes and when they were finished eating, I asked the waiter to speak to the manager and he got a major attitude. The manager was also extremely rude and full of excuses. Needless to say, I did not get to sit and eat my food, it had to be taken to go due to the length of time it took for my hibachi lunch to be brought from the kitchen and they forced me to pay full price. The manager didnt even offer an apology. If you read down the rest of the reviews, this is a chronic problem that the owner has yet to address with the young male waiter and her manager. Clearly they both need a class in customer service and conflict resolution or they will continue to lose business. This is being shared on my FB account as well, if the owner is reading this...take this seriously.

Sushi was good. I went to order a drink and the waitress suggested a mango martini saying its really good. So I order it and it takes like pure vodka. With an after taste mango. I bartend for over 6 yrs. never tasted a mango martini so bad b4. Than I asked If they can take it off my bill. The manager didnt take it off my bill. Gave me a discount for the martini. If anyone knows from restaurant experience if a customer doesnt like a drink u apologize and take it off my bill or remake it. But none. They lost a customer.

I have been going to this place for a long long time. After the remodel this place is a hot spot. The bar is the same when you come in, high side and low. They have a wonderful sushi bar with nice seating. They have a bunch of hibachi tables with plenty of seating. There is usually a crowd on the weekends. Beers are cold and the restrooms are clean. Kani special, not on the menu, TRY IT!!

Food is excellent and theres a wide selection of alcohol, but the place is rather expensive for what you get. Almost $20 for a soba dish is a little ridiculous. Wait staff is very accommodating and always polite, and the restaurant itself is well decorated and very cozy. Great atmosphere, great food, and great service at a price I would expect in a sushi place in NYC; not NEPA.

Eating here was an amazing experience. They have a large variety of authentic Japanese cuisine selection, from sushi that I wish I had ordered all the way to curry. I ordered a tuna and scallop dish that was to die for. Im hoping to come here on my birthday so I have a reason to try their bar and also have another flavorful experience. Keep up the good work, guys!

My favorite place in downtown Scranton for sushi. Great variety in rolls and the ingredients taste super fresh. Their hibachi IMO isnt the best in the region, but its pretty good and the chefs are friendly. Street parking is usually limited on this block, but Ive lucked out on spots on Linden. There are parking garages a short walking distance away though.

In town for visiting landmarks in The office", this restaurant was also recommended in a local map guide. The small rolls here are pretty good. I have never had hibachi before. Only saw it in The Office TV show. I tried this time, and the chef were very friendly. Scallops or beef would be a better choice than lobster.

Sushi is of good quality - nothing great, but nothing bad, either. The cards that come with the menus that you are supposed to fill out dont contain all the rolls. Its a bit confusing. When you walk in, the bar is RIGHT THERE and is super awkward walking to the table section, especially when people are seated there.

My friends and I have been going here so much over our 4 years in college and it is always delicious! It is so much fun for birthdays and parties to have hibachi and still great for a relaxed night out. It was definitely a staple for our college memories and I would recommend it to anyone in the area!

The soup is cold, the food was salty, the vegetables were lettuce, wow too expensive and my drink was like $13 for one drink oh my god not even in New York City and it smells like septic when I walked out I do not recommend this place at all. Desaki in Bartonsville Pennsylvania so good. good luck

I used to love Osakas sushi, but have found taking a chance with buffet sushi to be equally tasty (and cheap) as of late. And thats sad. Their service is extremely poor. Staff are rude. I dont care about the new decor. Id much rather the "dark cavern" if it means 1/2 price sushi Sundays.

I was taken here, and didnt think Id like it, due to my distaste for anything having to do with the city of Scranton, however, The place was amazing! The wait staff was wonderful, the Chef (Kevin) was everything you expected and more. Thank you for a wonderful time and a wonderful meal!

One of my favorite sushi places in nepa. Can be a little tight spaced, if you sit upfront in the winter its freezing from the door opening. Def not and in and out place take a while for food. If you are on a time schedule you can call ahead so it will be ready for when you arrive.

Great food, clean and healthy. Ide prefer if they didnt close in the middle of the day but every business has the right to make their own hours. I just keep going when they are closed and its frustrating. But when I can seem to catch them open, I enjoy every bite!
