We used to enjoy our visits to the cabin but today certainly makes me never want to return again. We were sat at the first high top behind the bar right next to the bussers station where they pile the dirty dishes. There were people crowding the bar to our immediate side and two of the people were basically sitting on top of our table. The waitress was friendly, but would often skip our table in her rounds because it was too inconvenient to squeeze by the people crowding. Then, when the first crowd of guests got sat to their table, a second crowd took the place of the first and somehow was even worse. At the end of our meal, we literally felt isolated from the remainder of the restaurant because there were people surrounding all sides of our table. My husband and I each ordered a soup prior to our pizza, and while mine came out in a timely manner, it was lukewarm and not very tasty. My husbands chili did not come out for another 20 minutes or so because "it comes from the kitchen not the waitress". When they finally did bring out his chili, our pizza had arrived. I think many would agree that it is incredibly annoying when an appetizer comes at the same time as an entree. Though we didnt see our waitress much, we sure saw plenty of bussboys - all whom had to carry their buckets full of dirty dishes OVER TOP of the pizza we were eating in order to squeeze past the men who were practically leaning on our tiny high top. Absolutely disgusting. I dont think Ive ever been so frustrated eating at a restaurant in my entire life - and Im not one to exaggerate. I am truly upset that my husband and I had to spend our hard earned money at a restaurant where we could not even enjoy a few minutes of our experience at. Hey Cabin, youve greatly disappointed us. (understatement of the year).

When I walked in, I enjoyed the atmosphere. It kindof reminded me of something youd see in a ski lodge or in the mountains. I had heard the pizza was incredible. I ordered pizza and it was delicious! Now to the bad part..My daughter has food allergies so she cant eat anything on the kids menu which isnt unusual when we go out. We always order her an adult meal bc theres more choices. I asked the waitress if I could order her some fish without certain things on it. The things I wanted to take off stated that they were "topped with" so I didnt see the harm in being able to not top the fish with those things. She kept saying no, I couldnt do it I had to order as is. Then she finally asked another waitress. The other waitress told her itd be fine, just check with the chef. She checked with the chef and the chef said he could leave those things off. The prices were extremely high for the atmosphere. You will pay around $20+ per entree for dinner. We finish our dinner and the waitress brings the check. It was 3 adults and 2 kids. She added the tip at the bottom of the check and said, "This is my gratuity". She said they add gratuity on parties of 5 or more. First of all I have never heard of that. I thought it was usually 8 or more, Besides 2 of our party were kids! 2nd of all she didnt deserve the 20% she added to the bill. And typically I thought it was 18% anyway. The friends I went with said they had been there lots of times and never had a waitress do that.

Not a kid-friendly restaurant, and some of the staff are downright rude. We found seats at the bar with the kids while waiting 30 minutes for a table. After about 10 minutes, we were thrown out of our seats by the bartender because "kids arent allowed near the bar." Meanwhile we had ordered beverages for everyone in our party at the bar and the actual dinner tables are literally 4 feet from the bar. Next, after about an hour at our table, we were told we had to finish our meals and vacate our table ASAP as they needed to move the table to make room for the band. We werent even offered a new table. No mention of this time limit when we were seated. As we were being evicted from our table, the band started playing and the kids wanted to hear a few songs before leaving. After a few minutes, we were told that we needed to leave as kids didnt belong there when the band was playing - it was about 9:30; again, from the same rude woman that kicked us off our table. Have eaten at the Cabin many times over the years, Ill never return again and advise folks with kids to think twice before eating there on a Saturday night. Reading through the comments, seems like my experience with rude staff isnt an isolated incident.

This was hands down the worst food and dining experience Ive ever had. As soon as my husband and I walked in, we were not even greeted by the host. She starred at us and when I initiated the conversation to tell her our party size she barely nodded her head to take us to our table. We were put in this back room at a table that apparently was near the staffs "socializing"room. After having been a waitress, Ive never seen such unprofessional inappropriate setting for staff chatter especially when you are waiting on tables in the same room. Our waitress did greet us right away, but disappeared into this chat room where we could still hear and see her with her colleagues. Our menus remained closed for a solid 20 minutes before she came back to take our order even though we were in visual sight of her. She clearly had an important conversation to finish before doing her job. Once we received our food, my husband and I both ordered a chicken meal. The chicken was undercooked pink for his buffalo wings and mine was served on a stale soggy roll. Needless to say, we will never go back.

The Cabin USED to be one of our favorite restaurants. Not anymore, the food has really gone downhill. I have a group of friends who get together for Friday night dinners. The cabin has been a go to restaurant for the last few years. About 4 weeks ago I ordered BBQ chicken and ribs, tasted like it was saturated with propane. I woke up two or three times almost choking to death the night I ate it. I felt like I was poisoned. Few week later I tried their "Cajun pasta". ZERO flavor, I did something I have only done twice in my life, Sent it back. I couldnt even eat it. This past Friday I ordered their prime rib. We had a party of 7, the next day everyone was comparing notes as to how bad the food was. When my girlfriend called to complain she was basically told "Too bad, you should have said something that night, not days later". No problem. There are other restaurants to eat at. So if you want very substandard food at 5 star restaurant prices go ahead and visit the cabin, enjoy yourself.

I recently rented the party room for an event and while the food was ok, I was not so thrilled with the service. Upon arrival. I was greeted (or not greeted if you will) by 3 employees standing at the podium talking to each other, paying no mind to me. I walked into the room myself and started decorating. I had 1 waitress for 40 people and not a smile or a "Hey, hows it going" from one employee. You would think for giving them close to $1,000 for 3 hours, you would get a little more than a staff full of attitude. I would have walked out if I didnt have guests arriving. Also, I feel my waitress did not deserve the 18% gratuity she so conveniently pointed out to me on the bill, but hey, what was I going to do? I would not recommend this establishment for anything other than pizza, wings and beer.
