After working in Woodbridge for 6 years and experiencing all of what Oak Tree Road had to offer, finding Bhoj a town away was a godsend. The all stars were all just as good as Ive had - chicken tikka, aloo gobi, chan, dal, all these dishes were packed with flavor. They are a bit pricey; most dishes are $12-16. Its understandable because they are one of the best Indian restos in Bergen. My only complaint, and this is probably not unique to Bhoj, is that the dishes are so sauce-heavy. The chicken tikka masala is easily finished between my wife and me. This usually doesnt happen! And when were done, there is about a cup of sauce leftover. The meat to sauce ratio is just a bummer for a carnivore like myself. Again, that seems to be the status quo for Indian restos. Overall, Bhoj is a winner! We usually hit it up once every 2 weeks.

Wondering what made me think it certainly will be the best Indian restaurant ! Being a foodie I wanted to try a new restaurant and trust me basis the pervious comments I believed it and went straight ahead beautiful interior, very comforting staff, service is timely but FOOD !! The main thing was extremely disappointing we were 4 members all guys so you can guess our diet and trust me not even one dish was up to any mark the sad dhaabe food I had in Bangalore was better then here. We ordered papdi chat which inspite of asking to make it spicy was sweet as dessert( am exaggerating but was certainly very sweet in taste) then was dosa, the chicken tandoori, the choke bhature samosa every thing was extremely disappointing. When asked to make it spicy the rate was worsened as then we tasted no spices but only chilly ! Not recommended :-(

. I am a big fan of Indian Food. I visit several Indian restaurants regularly, depending upon where I am working, and Bhoj is absolutely the best Indian food I have ever eaten. If I am in north jersey, I always choose Bhoj, both for the lunch buffet and for dinner. The difference between Bhoj and other Indian restaurants lies within the depth of flavor, care of preparation, and quality of ingredients. Instead of just shocking the customer with overwhelming amounts of spice, the chefs at Bhoj carefully build a rich depth of flavor that is simply sublime. The lunch buffet is exquisitely prepared, well-varied, and impeccably clean. The service is, at all times, polite, professional, friendly, and swift

I would like to give five star if it was a year before. we went for dinner after a year, and food was so terrible, we order two entry, with two sets of nan,and rice. Order was served in five minutes, again gravy was like watery, naan was not fresh, and server forgot to give rice, It was the human mistake. It was horrible test as we rememeber test we had visited four times before a year. We came back and totally dissatisfied, On the name of indian food it is like cheating the American who doesnt know what is real test of indian food. It was wasting for $35. I would prefer to find other place or go 20 miles down more south in edison for indian food. Or get frozen vegetable packet from indian grocery.

And if u try once, u will love tht forever..... I think its not just bhoj,,,, its "THE BHOJ" to me.. From... Mr. B.S

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Bergen County. Great service, phenomenal food, and extremely reasonable prices. To anyone with even the mildest interest in the place, I would strongly recommend going: you wont regret it! I was on the fence about going here, and now it is a favorite restaurant of mine. In an area full of mediocre Indian food, Bhoj shines as a true gem. Bhoj is proof that all Indian restaurants are not, in fact, made equal! Thank you for an exceptional meal. I will definitely be back. -Kevin Rezzadeh

Pl. save your money and go somewhere else. Worst Indian food I have eaten, I have gone there 2 times since I live close by and went bad to worst. I was the only one eating the buffet, there were flies around and waiter was busy catching and killing them with his hands. Food was not even Indian, old curry caused be heart burns. For the price of buffet there are so many better Indian options in the area, Ridgewood, Paramus, Hackensack. I am Indian and know my food very well. Avoid Bhoj if you dont want to be sick !!

Quality was really poor. We went for a lunch and reached the restaurant around 1.30 PM and almost nothing was available in buffet. We had to wait minimum 15/20 mins before they refilled the items. Tandoori Chicken was poor and we could not able to eat a single piece. We were forced to pay Gratuity even though separate bill was prepared however we didnt pay the gratuity as food quality was not up to the mark. Behavior of the person was very rude. Overall experience is not satisfactory and wouldnt visit again.

I went to this restaurant after seeing all the good reviews but, for my surprise, everything in the restaurant was horrible. Seems the food are cooked 2 days before, everything was cold, also they do not have varieties. I am very disappointed, friends please please do not go to this restaurant. The reviews and food in restaurant are no were related, you will loose your temper if you taste the food. I felt as if some one took my money from my pocket. This is very worst restaurant....dont know what to say...

After seeing all the reviews in google maps I went there .. its totally over rated, I think the reviews are written by the owner of the restaurent. I ate machuria over there and they gave me boiled Cauliflower in Tomato sauce, the biryani was curry mixed in rice, we ordered lacha parata and they gave me chapati ... and finally the bill is mind bogling ..DONT GO THERE... its the worst wast of moeny ever. I am an indian and I would rather go to Mc Donalds than this place ...

My review only applies to the buffet, since I have never eaten from the ala carte menu. Also this restaurant has been under new ownership for the last 6 months. The new chef has caused an improvement in the taste of the food. Vegetarian dishes are very tasty, but the meat dishes are uninspired. And the buffet choices change, from week to week. I find this to be very frustrating, since that dish that Im looking forward to eating, may not be served this week.

Bhoj is an excellent resturaunt. The food is always enjoyable. We have visited over 20 times and always enjoy our meals. although we generally have the buffet, the menu offers a wide selection and some Indian/Chinese dishes that will tempt the tast buds of those who have eaten Chinese food in India. The desert bar is a nice twist to the buffet and is must with a help yourself table of freshly prepared fare that you should give a try.
