Writing this review as an overview of our last visit to Spuntinos. To start off the food, drinks and customer service was absolutely great. Ordered a personal pie and a couple tapas for my girlfriend and I, everything was well seasoned and tasty. We ordered their take on Moscow mules with Fig vodka, which was something new for us and tasted amazing has become something we make at home now after this visit. The real reason for this review however is why we wouldnt give the experience 5 stars and this comepletely falls on the shoulders of management who we observed while sitting at the bar. Some employees there seemed to be very unhappy and it was very obvious it was due to the Manager, a women with shorter hair, who had talked down to an employee by the soda station in a manner that Ive never seen and Ive Bartended & worked in restaurants myself for 7 years and never seen anything like that. Its just not something pleasant to observe while eatting a meal and we felt like that could have been handled much more professionally, maybe away from customers and definitely not in the tone that she had spoken to her employee. A solid 4 stars for food and the employees themselves still providing great service. However front of house management or upper management has to take a closer look at whats going on while on the floor.

I have been here a few times now, and feel compelled to leave a review as it seems a misunderstanding of the term "Italian Tapas" has lead to a lower review score than this place deserves. If you are unfamiliar with Tapas, this place exclusively serves "small plates", intended for sharing amongst your table. Generally when my friends and I have gone to Spuntino we have ordered a couple items from each menu header (more than a dozen items for a table of 4) in separate courses. Including dessert and coffee, the bill is normally around $50 per person. As someone else had stated: this is not Dennys pricing, but it is high quality food well worth the price charged. The wine list is excellent, and you will not find another place with as many wines offered by the glass. The Reserve Wine List is a terrific value for rare and hard-to-find wines at cellar (not restaurant mark-up) prices. The wine steward spoke with us for more than 15 minutes about the wine program and helped us select a great wine, much of which we were told comes from the owners personal collection! To finalize, this restaurant is not quite the same as all the rest out there, but if youre interested in a fun time, great food, and you are not averse to paying more than $20 for a meal, it is absolutely worth it.

Service was great, food was very very good. BUT..... WARNING.... TAPAS DISHES ARE ONLY 3/4 TO ONE OZ LARGE PER DISH...........................DISHES ARE MICRO SIZE........... I ordered 3 dishes for $14.00....... I received only 5 thin slices of smoked posciutto which= 3/4 oz..... 2 dish, Wild Boar Cacciatorni,,,,,,,, 8 slices of thin cut up hot dog size size cuts which = only 3/4 oz....... 3 dish. Spuntino Salumi .. Which was 2 slices =no more than 1/2 oz. ALL FOR ONLY $14.00... 4 dish Caramelized onion This is fried onion & cheese on two slices of, 2in x 1in bread slices = 3/4 oz total. My main dish was octopus, very good, but was no more than 5 oz. My wife had 3 cheese tapas dishes,,,, again each dish only 3/4 oz big.. Her main dish was lamb chops for $14.00.. VERY GOOD BUT ONLY 3 pices which = 3 Oz TOTAL DINNER $ 73.00 NOT WORTH IT. WE LEFT AND WENT TO ANOTHER PLACE TO EAT. I had a beer, my wife had a glass of wine. NOW FOR $85 ,00 I COULD BUY 4 POUNDS OF KING CRAB LEGS AT COSTO AND FEED 3 PEOPLE TILL THEY SPLIT OPEN. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT. FOOD 4 STARS PRICE 0.

There were 4 of us who dined here on a Saturday night, none of which had been here before. We shared a few bottled of Riesling and bunch of different plates. We started with meats and cheeses, which were excellent. We then moved onto the traditional Bruschetta and a Shrimp Scampi Bruschetta - both had good flavors, although the Scampi was a touch oily. We then shared the Sausage and Broccoli Raab pizza - it wasnt my favorite, but it scored well with the table. We then moved onto Main courses, in which my girlfriend and I shared the Lamb Chops and Octopus. The Lamb was the star of the night for me - simple, but perfectly seasoned. The Octopus fell flat for us - it was a touch overcooked and lacked seasoning and acidity; that said, we had plenty of awesome food, it didnt bother us at all. The service was really good. They had a good team atmosphere, in that when our server was busy, someone else was attentive to our table. This was a great experience and I will definitely be going back.

My hubby Chris & I love this place!! The staff and managers are beyond accommodating! We decided to have our baby shower here a couple of weeks ago and by far the best decision ever made! The entire staff, especially Sara & Nuno made sure the day went off smoothly. Sara set everything up and followed through will all details for a perfect day! The servers kept my family and friends happy the entire time! The food was amazing and I am still getting rave reviews about my shower! Luke and the bar staff kept the drinks coming which kept my family happy! We have been guests since you opened and we have never ever had a bad experience! Spuntinos is one of the best local spots for my hubby & I to kick back and relax!

Very attentive service and good Italian comfort food. I was at Spuntinos for a party and told the waitress I had a dairy allergy. From that point on the staff went over and above to make sure I was able to enjoy the party without worrying about what I can or can not eat. The atmosphere is warm and casual. The room itself is loud so no worries with children but not for quite conversation. The wine and beer selection is satisfactory. I would recommend the buccattini with pancetta. The smokey flavor of the sauteed pancetta, onions and fresh tomato gravy is deliciously hearty. IMO go try this place and enjoy the good food and service.

I leave comments either for outstanding or horrific experiences, and the latter usually occurs more common. However, Spuntino has been one of the few exceptions. Second time there tonight, within 1/2 hr after seated, more than 3 different personals asked me how I was doing and if everything was fine. My dessert was delivered late, so the manager wrote it off. I dont know if they hold shares of the place but they certainly act like they do. For all restaurants, food is priority, but Spuntino is able to succeed not only in their delectable nibbles but also their warm, welcoming attitude overall. Great job, carry on!

I cant get enough of this place, its very good. They definitely dont deserve the lower review scores once you understand its going to be small plates packed with a lot of flavor. Yes you can easily spend $50.00 on a dinner for two but you will be stuffed having tried countless dishes. My favorite thus far is the Cannelini Bean Bruschette, Sweet Pea Risotto and the Brussel Sprouts. If you want a full dinner(not small plate) thats traditional Italian just go up the street to Taste of Tuscany and youll get your fill there.
