I have to say..Im all for the farm to table concept. We went to the farm. It was a weekday...couldnt see the entire farm..which is fine, as we went for breakfast/lunch.. with that said, we are on the farm...its new Jersey.. i live in new jersey! I know a jersey tomato. I love a tomato sandwich...im at a farm to table restaurant distributor/restaurantish.. tomato sandwich?? Holy moly..gonna be the best tomato sandwich everrrrrr... umm..yah..no . tomato was so green..there was a stalklike stem ish toughness in the center. Not juicy. Not red, def not ripe. WT%$. I couldve gone to shoprite or the roadside farm market. My bf got breakfast. Crumbled bacon. Burnt potatoes, not scrambled eggs, eggs fritatta...cooked in bulk. Not good. Farmers farm, they dont cook.. love the farm. Love the way the restaurants prepare the food. Leave preparation to the chef.. serve a ripe tomato sandwich..fry green tomatoes. If u offer a tomato sandwich, it should be what i imagined it was going to be...a farm fresh RIPE tomato sandwich...so simple

Free to walk around this hidden sustainable farm in West Cape May, NJ. A fun 2 hour tangent from a day at the beach on your way back to camp/home! If youre visiting, take care to avoid the free range chickens greeting with your car as you drive in; they were eager to be fed by hand! We started out walking through the gardens around their beautiful timber-framed farm house that showcases their fresh produce and meats alongside local handmade goods. After a quick look inside, we decided to walk around the farm to see their mint, lavender, strawberry, tomato, eggplant and rhubarb fields at the height of their growing season. Along the way, we had a great time just walking along the paths and visiting the other chickens and their pigs and ducks. I highly recommend visiting!

I love this place. We came over to this place last weekend with my mom and her dog and my toddler son. We all had a great time. My son fed and chased the chickens. We went for a small nature walk. We had a delicious lunch. My son had a hoy dog and pasta salad. Pasta salad could use some seasoning. I had a turkey sandwich. The bread was amazing. I had coleslaw with it. Yummy. My mom had a chicken sandwich. My favorite part of lunch the many choices of fresh tea. My son played on the slide while we ate. The people here were so nice they brought over a huge bowl of water for my moms dog. What a great place....by the way I love their teas.

The Beach Plum Farm is by far one of the most creative and established farms in Cape May County. There are reasons why farming has become industrialized, which is why it is so great to see a small farm succeed. I hope the Beach Plum Farm becomes a benchmark for others who are willing to take on similar projects in this area. Its nice to have a different concept in a town that has so much redundancy with their cuisine. The atmosphere is different than most other places on the island and it is comfortable and cozy. It is also child friendly and quite casual. Thanks for a great time.

Cool idea, fun place. I went to the fall fest with my nieces and nephew. They had a great time. They were able to feed the chickens, trick or treat and go for a hay ride. The food was very expensive for what it was, however it is a cool place to take people who are visiting from out of town or who havent been there yet. They also have some hiking trails.

Had egg and fried potatoes with an order of bacon and cinnamon muffin for breakfast. Potatoes were partially cooked and muffin was overbaked and dry. Butter is unsalted, as an fyi. Bacon had good smoked flavor but was not crisp. Not the best breakfast Ive had.

Really unique. Not for everyone though. Super expensive small farmer market with outdoor seating and some breakfast and lunch options from the grill. Its really all about the experience thats what youre paying for. Walk around the farm feed the chickens Etc

Awesome Farm lands that are both rich in the goods they produce along with the scenery of the area. Recommend the products and fresh food that comes from here along with the ability to just walk along a deeply natural portion of the island.

Small, but very fresh selection of breakfast and lunch options. The sage Scotch Egg was a different option to see on the menu. Working farm is worth a stroll around, and it sells produce which is great if you are renting in the area.

Very small foods menu. I loved how the farm decorated and all the plants grow around the main building. There are couple of foot trails to explore surrounding nature. It was very nice to spend time walking and relaxing at the farm.

The food is wonderful, but you have to get there early enough to get some! The farm is a fun for kids because they can interact with the animals and even feed the chickens!
