It was not the greasiest burger, Ive been served, but close. The grease mixed with the mayo and soaked through the bun. It was also salted for some reason. I am not sure who was making the burgers, but it was not a place I would visit again. If it was described as a bar that had food service, it would more accurately reflect the business. The waitress was surprised we were eating there on a Saturday afternoon. There were a dozen other people there playing poker, but not eating. Update: My original review was from about 6 months ago. I have read that they have replaced the cook and fixed some of the problems. I have not returned, but am raising my 1 star to 2, just based on that information.

Terrible service. Over 40 minutes to get a drink order. Waited 1 hour before my order was taken. I was with a group who had a head count prior to our large group attending and they werent properly staffed. Friends left because waitress still hadnt taken their order 1.5 hours into being there. Waitress was out of sorts and couldnt get orders right or in. I will not be attending again and will not be attending our monthly gathering of friends here unfortunately.

Had a really nice dinner there last night. Started off with a great Miso soup and followed that up with the prong appetizer. I was pleasantly surprised that it was seafood Thursday...nice specials and very busy place. Service was great as usual...ate at the bar. always feel welcome. Great staff, great kitchen, I highly recommend West Brook Inn and oh yea, you cant beat the prices, the value is tremendous for central Jersey. GIve it a try

Never judge a book by its cover! This small, simple place serves up a menu that is is creative, fresh and delish ... bartenders and wait staff all excel at making you feel very welcome and taking care of every need. Live music on weekends makes for extra fun after dinner. The WB is a warm, fun place for couples or groups of friends.

Wonderful owner. Fantastic service. Very friendly and welcoming. The food was 5 star quality. I had the Chicken Marsala and it was so tender and the sauce was delicious. The drinks are great and they had a fantastic live band playing.

Been a West Brook Grille sandwich fan for years. This one so-so. The beef was overcooked and didnt taste like prime rib. Service was very friendly.
