Went to the bar with some friends to watch the NCAA tournament and received a large bar tab and complained about it. My friends had been there earlier and had a table with a separate tab, then they paid cash at the bar after they closed their table tab. I did not have the amount of drinks that I was billed for. Somehow I was charged for way more then I had ordered. I dont know what happened, maybe the bartender double entered orders or got confused when handing my friends their drinks. Everyone was drinking bud light bottles so maybe they got confused. Regardless, I think the whole situation was handled incorrectly and extremely unprofessional. The manager was a real @**hole about the whole thing and allowed a scene to escalate about it and my one friend made me realize it was not worth it so I paid the bill and left. Manager quite possibly was drunk. I sent an email expressing the fact it really bothered me about what transpired and I couldnt even get a response let alone an apology. My friends and I spend a lot of money there every year during the tournament. That will be the last time it happens. It seems like they dont care losing customers. They dont put them first at least the manager did not, he couldnt even respond to my email. I hope the owner sees this and checks his management. Double check your bill people, dont trust your bartender, he wouldnt even discuss the bill with me, all he said was Ill get the manager. I think they are in cahoots. Sad world we live in.

I was very disappointed in the Famished Frog. We went on New Years Eve. I had seen the menu online and decided between a few low-cost items. Well, we got there and there was a special menu, with nothing under $17.99. All of the lower cost pastas and burgers were not being offered. OK, I ordered one of the cheapest items, a shrimp scampi, which was good, but not significantly better than a cheaper shrimp dish than youd get at a family chain restaurant (Long Horn, Applebees, etc.) But OK, whatever. Its a holiday. All of the other patrons, however, were allowed to order hamburgers and regular meals. Why were we singled out and forced to order $20 steaks and shrimp meals? I will not go back to this place, which seems to play favorites with certain diners. Also, the place is ugly. It looks nothing like it does on the website.

Went there recently, group of 3. After one hour of watching groups of 2, there is plenty of seating for couples, and one other group of 3 seated; they had also waited an hour, we saw a group of 4 come in and seated before us. When we asked how much longer it would be, we were told we were next. Another group of 4 arrived and was seated, we still were not called and decided to leave. On our way out, only one person asked if there was a problem, but when we briefly explained, he only said he was sorry. NO ONE offered to remedy the situation. I have been there before and was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the attitude of the staff in trying to accommodate us at this time. Clearly, the seating arrangements need adjusting.

Good service but not exactly warm and friendly. Waiter was attentive to my water cup, filling it up and even swapping out another one when I finished my cup. Food took a little bit long to get to our table and cant say it was worth the wait. I got the Smokehouse Burger and it was a solid "ok". The most prominent flavor (not just strongest) was the fried onion -- the beef didnt really contribute at all to the burger. The Cole slaw did not have much taste either, and the burger had a burnt kinda smell to it -- I know they were going for smoky, but this was not smoky.

I came here late Saturday night for a friends birthday, so it was the typical sports bar experience. There were lots of TVs playing the ending of the NFL playoffs, which continued to play SNL. A bit distracting, but there wasnt much room for dancing and the live band was very loud (but pretty good) so what else could I have done besides drink and occasionally glance at the TV? Only had one drink (the Luke Skywalker) and the bartender was attentive and quick. Good atmosphere, though I noticed the lack of diversity immediately walking in.

Got here as they open. Very attentive bar keep with all the popcorn you could eat. Great selection of craft beers. Now for the bad. Ordered French onion soup and the bread was teeth breaking hard. Tasted as it came out of a can. I order the steak and egg nacho of the special and it look delicious. However it bland and it was super dry. We waited a looonnnngggg time for our food and I feel that it sat under the lights for a while. I will give this place another chance in the future. I just think we were to earlier.

The food here is disgusting. I had the crab cakes and they came with a side of mashed potatoes and rice. The crab cakes were literally soggy from so much grease. The potatoes were a solid block -- you could pick up the whole block just by stabbing it with your fork. I went with four other people who all complained about the quality of their food as well. I was reminded of terrible high school cafeteria food.

The food is decent, service slow - especially in the Side Bar portion of the restaurant. Not the staffs fault though, they need to hire more people. However, they did charge my debit card multiple times for the same dinner and I am dealing with my bank to dispute the charges, as the management at the Frog refuses to acknowledge their mistake. If I ever go back, Im certainly paying cash only.

Interior is kind of boring, food was pricey for what you got, and the food wasnt that good. We had a decent sized group and no one liked any of their meals very much. The food was Ok, but didnt impress anyone. Staff was friendly enough and took suggestions but the menu could really use a revamp and a focus on flavors and food preparation. We will not be going back again.

One of my favorite family restaurants. Their Bacon Beer Meatloaf is the best meatloaf Ive ever had. Ive had several of their other dishes and have never been disappointed. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere with the the Morristown downtown outside the front windows and their two side bars where you can go for some great craft beers and entertainment after dinner.

I believe this is one of the family of Growth catering restaurants in the area (there are many others). A great place to take the kids but not much more than that. The draw of this place is the bar area which gets packed after 5pm every single night with the Morristown business crowd and college kids. For food, I would suggest eating at the Cosi across the street.

Went several times now because the services and food was so great! It looks like they have a computer system to keep track of everyone and all the tables. It looks like a well oiled machine. The food its great too, I recommend the burgers (I had a special American Burger for fourth of july last year and the blue burger) and the lobster Mac and Cheese.
