Our experience at MetroNorth was not very good. We made a reservation for 4 people on a Thursday night at 8pm. We first wanted to have a cocktail at the bar. We were approached by a waitress and were told that we would be seated in the bar area for our meal and should start looking over the menu to order. We were out to dinner with guests from England and did not want to dine in the bar area. Our waitress had to ask the manager for permission to seat us even though we had a reservation. We were being VERY rushed to order our meal. At 8:30 we were informed that the kitchen would be closing at 10pm and therefore we needed to order. We couldnt understand the rush as 10pm was an hour and a half away. We ordered and our food came out ice cold. Not luke warm, ice cold. Our plates were cleared at 9:30 and we were given our check. One of our guests asked if they could order a dessert. We were told no, the kitchen was closed! This was at 9:30pm. As we walked out the door the staff followed on our heels. This was a Thursday evening (Jan 3rd). So much for our evening out!!!

Menu is diverse and the burgers are great. They do seem to have a fruit fly problem, which is never appetizing. Portion sizes are not even across the board. On our recent visit we ordered two appetizers the bang bang shrimp and the eggplant tower. The eggplant tower was as expected but the bang bang shrimp was pitiful. Entree portions seemed fair except when it came to the vegetables one had about a tablespoon of peas and the other 3 asparagus. Two people in our group also mentioned that they felt the mashed potatoes had a slight instant potatoes taste. The menu had some issues as well. The drink menu has a header for craft beer then the page ends without a single beer mentioned. On the dessert menu we noticed that they dont give you all the details for each item (like the molten lava cake comes with ice cream but it doesnt have it listed). Be aware that happy hour is only in the bar and lounge which is not mentioned on their website but the two signs they have hanging do have a little asterisk that mentions it.

Brought my 2 daughters for lunch (been here many times). Terrible! Found 1 very long hair in the pasta. Response was meh I dont cook the food my pizza arrived half cooked. Tge meatballs were very over-seasoned. Again the response was seriously lacking. Bill came with no consideration. you can have 2 galatos free. They already come with the kids menu. The manager Antonio just offered a discount. No questions about the experience. The fact that I had eaten ½ the pizza gave him justification for the discount. Total fail for Management. I didnt want the discount! Shame. It used to be a really good restaurant but its definitely lost its way.

Every time I visit, for whatever meal, the service is so personable, even merry, and the food sublime. Mornings are gilded by eggs Benedict with truffles; evenings enhanced by pasta with sausage and herbs in a light cream sauce. There is a timelessness here, inside or out, which is the ideal antidote to lives in which real north metro systems are key, with all that this implies of speed and schedules. Favorite evenings are Metro North followed by music, such as the Dryden Ensemble for Ancient Music and/or anything at Richardson Auditorium! This has become our club. Had my family there to celebrate my Moms birthday...never going back. They kept reminding me I had to be out by a certain time. We had made reservations weeks in advance, I was very excited to have us all together. My lunch was terrible and I told the waitress and she just smirked, and ignored me. Very bad service, I think because we didnt order tons of liquor like she kept pushing from the bar. We are iced tea folks especially for lunch. Would not recommend this restaurant, sorry to say.

I have gone here twice now. Once for a work function and once for a family lunch. Both times the food was excellent, the atmosphere was excellent, the service was, yep, excellent. The only thing I dont like about Metro North is trying to make a left turn out of the parking lot when it is time to leave.

George is nuts. This is a great place & the mgr cares that you are satisfied. Sit on the couch by the fireplace for a cocktail if you get there with enough time before your res. The food is great & it's one of the few good places in Princeton with a parking lot.

We went there for brunch in Sunday by 1pm. The restaurant was a little empty. I ordered eggs Benedict and they were ok. The sauce with the eggs was a little cloying. The Bloody Mary are good. Nice place to have brunch with friends but Sans plus.

A favorite of one of my customers, this place is Mediterranean in selections. Really good chick parm I might add! Food comes quickly and its a location that seems to belong on the water based on its style. Still - very popular and great food.

A very nice Italian restaurant, where the Rusty Scupper used to be. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the other dishes quite tasty. A good addition to Princeton, at a price point thats very reasonable ($20-$30/entree range).

We went today on Lenten Friday for a businews lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the French onion soup was divine. Yummy! I would highly recommend them.

Wonderful food and drinks and our server was great. We had a group of about 10 and everyone loved it! Highlights were the mussels, polenta fries, eggplant tower and tiramisu.

A serviceable $12 turkey burger, but a bit disappointed that it was a processed turkey patty rather than a turkey filet. The bread and oil with herbs is pretty tasty though.

For me, its a bit expensive (solid 3 dollar sign rating). But the happy hour prices are good. The truffle parmesan fries were particularly good.

Food is average, prices are too high, and the service took forever. Really not worth your while or money to stop in.
