If you are looking for overpriced food combined with the inability to get exactly what you ordered, you are at the right place! I placed an order about 3 days ago for takeout. I own a business and asked one of my employees to pick up the order. When I received the order, it was all wrong. I was frustrated, but decided to give them another chance. This morning I call in and place my order and specifically said "please repeat my order back to me. I placed an order a few days earlier and you guys got it all wrong". The lady who took my order repeated it back and it was correct. I once again send my employee to pick up my order and when she arrived back to my office with it, the order was all wrong AGAIN! Even after I had got the person repeat my order back to me! So I called the diner up and expressed my frustration and they simply stated, "oh...well we can remake it if you want to come back and pick it up". No...I dont want to pay my employee AGAIN to run out and pick up an order that should have been correct to begin with and the order even reconfirmed. All of this within the same 3 day period. I paid $24.13 for some breakfast and they cant even get it right. And gosh forbid your order be incorrect...their solution is for YOU to be inconvenienced and have to run back out to pick it up?? Spend more time and gas for their mistakes. Not to even mention the fact that I am 9 months pregnant!

Ive been to this diner about 8 or 9 times, and all but once I had really horrible service, and the one waitress we didnt have any problem with does not work there any more. Besides the point, the wait staff is very rude inconsistent and in feel very snobby. Im not complicated customer I get the same thing every time, creamed chip beef with white toast not a difficult order at alll, but for whatever reason seems to be the most difficult. Ive had my food messed up, my sons food wrong he didnt even touch his food, not even one bite we told our server and she didnt do anything about it, and charged us for it...we left the whole plate of food on the table when we left spoke to the manager and they wanted too refund our money, since we already paid for it and were already frustrated we refused and just left. However, we really do like their food, thats one thing I think its really good and like other reviews its pretty clean, so to avoid any more wait staff problems or attitude we call in our food for take out and just keep at home. Id rather do that then to deal with their ignorant waitresses.

Poor to say the least. Two simple orders, two horrible dishes. My girlfriend ordered the Camden burger (basically bacon, mushroom, swiss burger) medium well. I think the lettuce was more juicy than this slab of meat...oh and no bacon. After we asked, wasnt there supposed to be bacon we overheard the manager say...if shes not sure then dont say anything. On to my order. "mile high" meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. I guess you would have be high to have enjoyed this meal. The meatloaf made the burger look like a filet. It was dry and definitely microwaved just moments before it hit the table. Oh and once again...mistake, about a half of a handful of fries laid where my mashed potatoes should reside. Please do not subject yourself to this diner, unless you order just a pickle- the one highlight of the trip (according to my girlfriend).

My husband and I did not enjoy our visit to The Legacy Diner today for 4th of July lunch. Our waitress had the personality of a place mat. We both ordered burgers, they were flavorless, mine came with mayo but did not have any mayo on it. The bacon on my burger was under cooked, we both asked for well done burgers. They were so well done that leather would have been a better choice. Their breakfast is good. The previous reviewer is correct about the a/c. A couple weeks ago on a hot Saturday morning he had it turned off, claiming people said they were cold. Now everyone knows it is Summer and establishments must run a/c, so you dumb people bring a sweater, and stop making other people miserable. Note to the owner: DO NOT TURN OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING IN THE SUMMER TO APPEASE SOME MORONS.

Meager greek platter. 6 pita triangles, Tablespoon each of chopped kalamata olives & canned roasted dices red peppers. About 3 ounces of meat slivers and some nicely presented teta cheese. Worth 9.99. Absolutely NOT. I ponted to the side salad for 2.00 extra and was charged 7 bucks for a six inch round plate. 20.00 plus a 3.00 tip for a pleasant wait person. Cashier woman short and unpleasant. The shaved head gentleman (owner/manager) needed to spend more time helping his employees rather than feeding himself. Open your eyes man, hello your staff. I noticed other wait persons smiling and saying hello/ refilling water etc. Ive had some good diner tastys here in the past. Perhaps this should be the last visit.

My buddy and I went to this diner yesterday afternoon for a late lunch. We both got the same salad; steak and blue cheese... I forget the name exactly. We are both battling diarrea now. Thanks a lot! Also, while Im complaining... The place was hot and sticky inside. Our server said the patrons and staff complained all day but management didnt care. Shift change brought on a new manager, and the a/c instantly came on. Sorry for the bad review, but the place earned it yesterday. To be fair, Ive heard a lot of good things from locals, so it could be a fluke. But that doesnt shut off the valve on my back porch today, if you catch my drift!!!!!

It was great when it first opened, but went downhill fast! My 3rd visit there, my salad was made incorrectly..even though they insisted it was..it didnt even match the description of ingredients on the menu! We gave it another shot another day and there was hair in my food .. my server was shedding! I sent it back and they took it off the bill. My mom was having breakfast there another time and asked me to meet her..again...same server and hair in my food! Ive had other friends who have dined here and wound up with hair in their food as well. Havent been there in 2 years now and wouldnt go back.

I emplored my better half to try this place as we usually opt for Black Horse Diner. I like trying new dining experiences. I must say it was the first and last time we will visit. The waitress did not know the menu, namely that a salad could not be substituted for a cup of soup. I asked for a salad instead of the soup. Later in the meal the waitress came over to apologize and said her manager is making her charge me for a salad even though my meal came with soup! While I paid the bill, and left a 40% tip, as is customary, I will not and cannot recommend anyone try the Legacy Diner in Audubon NJ!
