I found the place to be meh, it looked nice when walking in but there are hidden negatives that I learned while dining. The couches that are used for seating get quite uncomfortable after a short time, they are a bit to low and if you do not get a back pillow you lean to far back. Also for such a classy looking place they use paper napkins where cloth would have completed the look and feel they are trying to project. One of the dishes we got, Involtini Di Melanzane, may have been microwaved as it was cold on the outside and hot on the inside. Should have been hot all the way through. They have a beautiful deck that overlooks the Bay but they allow smoking out there and you will get the smell of smoke with your meal. The same goes for the front deck, minus the view. The food was good and the portions were also nice, but the Chess pie could have been a bit thicker. I did not get a water refill until my glass was empty and I had to ask. Bathrooms are clean and they are rated a "A" from NYC

Had high hopes for this place. Food is great but prices need to be adjusted and staff is poor. I was sitting outside with my mother and the water from the canopy (rained last night) fell all over my table because of some wind. Went in my food and coffee. I was offered a "sorry" and shocked to notice my bill unaffected, same price. You would think some type of credit as recompense but no. I paid it ($40, whatever). Wanted to speak to manager just to offer my friendly advice as a loyal customer. Server first says "no manager here right now, just boss". So I ask for "boss". Out walks a server, not a boss nor manager. Anyways I tell him what happened and he offers another petty "sorry". Im easy going so I didnt make a fit, but good luck for the next time this happens. Also, avocado on the side says $3 on menu. Was charged $4 for half an avocado ($8 for one avocado? Crazy).

very expensive although foods are ordinary turkish u can buy much cheaper at any turkish cafe. Service very bad, we were waiting waiter for 30 minutes every times , every times called waiter they didnt work at all . They enclosed 20% for tips into finale bill which is illegal , unfortunately i was between beautiful girls and didnt want to argue about it . Waiter didnt clean up the table after we ate hot meals so we called them and asked to clean in up. Id not recommend this place to anyone . Next to it there are other restaurants which are full always , I think people know where need to go, and I know for next time . this is for chef and owner : Even Gurmanoff grocery at Brighton Beach has much better menu and of course much cheaper than at rocca .

Im totally disappointed today. First: I called before and ordered a place near the water. Yet, when we came they said they didnt have any place near the water. After waiting for 10 minutes we got our place. We have ordered Rocca salad which tasted awful. My steak was raw even though I asked well done one. And the last one! We were freaking freezing! I asked for the blankets like 10 times! They said they were running out of them. However, I saw that many customers had 2 blankets covered on them. Thats ridiculous! I will never ever come back there again. Even my friends were disappointed! I will never even suggest that place to anyone. Avoid that place!!!!

I usually come here to dine in but I decided to try a delivery. I ordered fettuccine alfredo and lamb chops and the food was absolutely delicious. I got my delivery in less than 40 minutes and they even gave me a complimentary dessert! Overall I love this place, especially their homemade desserts, and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the management always acquire to your needs to provide the best experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, reasonable prices, and comfortable/intimate atmosphere. BEST PART: AWESOME HOOKAH AND NO CORK FEE WHEN YOU BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLE!

The food was terrible the waiters didnt speak any english, my grilled chicken sandwich tasted like cole. My sauted chicken dish wasnt well done. My sisters mixed grill was raw. My mashed potatoes that I ordered were literally splashed from a spoon to a plate the kunafeh barely had any cheese. The hookah didnt even taste good. Paid over 300$ and after leaving went and grabbed sandwiches from another place. The moral is this is the worst restaurant Ive been to in my life. OPERA CAFE IS WAY BETTER!! All this place has is a view of the water and crappy service along with a terrible chef.

Recep is a manager of this place . I want to order grilled shrimp with burgur rice , manager told me they dont have burgur ( brown) rice , they have just white rice or mashed potato , so I checked whole menu there is no white rice in menu . I guess they never had bulgur ( Brown.) . Ok asked him to give me breakfast or grilled shrimp with home made fried potato instead white rice or mashed potato . He said cant do this if dont like it its your problem . . So I didnt know what to order all dishes have smashed potato , I put one star for Rocca cafe for service .

I came here once about a month ago with a friend it has a great view if you want outdoor seating. We did indoor because it was windy. They have great selection of dishes. I the grilled shrimp and I felt like I was in Heaven. It was seasoned and cooked to perfectly. ( This coming from a foodie and student of culinary). I would definitely return. Great customer service our server was super helpful. Also try the Hummus and dessert I cannot remember the name well but it was a hot sweet cheese desert also a must have.

Great restaurant with great style, a gorgeous view of the bay, fabulous food, and environment. Definitely try the penne a la vodka and chicken kebab. Only thing that could be fixed is the workers they have serving the guests; waiters can be extremely rude. I asked for a cup and the waiter (who had an very distinct accent and you could clearly tell his first language was not english) scolded extremely rudely and said "GLASS! You need GLASS!". I was left speechless.........

Rocca rocks! We had an amazing evening with my family. Even though its been a new spot on the block, they seemed pretty experienced to me. They have lots of seating options-right by the seaside, a section like a Mediterranean style balcony, well decorated glasswalled area and the Emmons side. which I dont recommend. Kumpir is great but I wished I had more sausage in mine. Service is on time, and the staff is very hospitable. Definitely try Turkish tea.

Great service and a way to watch the game in style. I dont know why but the servers gave us dessert on the house that we didnt order! Much appreciated. All the food was excellent - Mediterranean, healthy. The mazza platters were excellent, the bread was perfect. Probably wouldnt order the leben again though. Other than that, the menu had so many delicious options...what a find! Oh, and it has great views of the water.
