Heres the thing. Lark is a great coffee shop. The quality of coffee is excellent, food fresh and atmosphere is pleasant for sitting for a while. Open for several years now, its still one of the only modern coffee shops in the area. But they always seem to run out of bagels and other food items and their staff often gets orders mixed up. Their coffee lids leak as well. Whats odd, is these, albeit minor issues, have never been fixed. My wife and I now expect there to be some "Lark story" about service or something. If this were improved, Id give the place 5 stars. But for now, still a great 4 star coffee shop.

I like the cafe. I especially like that its kid friendly and offers activities and music programs for small children. My only complaints: the baby changing tables in the bathroom have broken straps, which is unsafe, and I was told for months that refills are free, then suddenly charged for it. Its not technically a "refill" if Im paying the same price again. Perhaps refills at $1, or half price, but full price is just buying another drink! Most of the staff are really kind. Hoping they start including vegan and gluten free food items soon.

I previously gave this coffee shop 5 stars but recently there is a new barista that has no manners, forget about great customer service. . I asked for milk in my coffee and he gave me an attitude. Not a thank you or have a nice day, didnt get any of that.He happens to be there late afternoons by himself and plays Hip Hop .Not a very good music choice for a coffee shop with a kids play area. Other days (when he isnt there) this place still has 5 stars.

A very cute neighbourhood teahouse. Has wireless, plugs on one side of the room, and a reasonable selection of drinks (only a few teas though). Well-lit and a good place for conversations, it also has a side room thats used very regularly for neighbourhood events. Be wary of the posted hours; events often cause it to either be open later or to semi-close earlier.

A nice neighborhood coffee house. There is a separate playroom for children, and there are many power outlets, beneath the built in benches. Free Wi-Fi (the password is posted on the counter) They serve sandwiches, quiche and excellent baked goods, and very good coffee. The tables are small, but Ive seen small groups gathered. No one has ever rushed me.

Lark cafe is decent. Its really for people who go for coffee or tea. Its on the small side so not much seating and the prices are kind of steep. Theres a small play area attached that can get crowded whenever a playgroup meets there but its convenient for a cold/rainy day in a pinch. Theres also a bathroom!

Awesome local coffee shop with a variety of baked goods. The people are very nice and the atmosphere is friendly. Good to sit and read for a bit, or hang out with one or two people. There are number of outlets for a laptop, although I think there are rules about using laptops on the weekends.

Great little cafe on a bustling avenue with bites from local vendors including Dough, Four and Twenty Blackbirds and Brancaccios. They have a separate space for kids and families which is nice if youre there to catch up on work while enjoying the Stumptown brews. Prices are reasonable.

I love this place , decent coffee , donuts from dough! And super friendly staff. You can always find a spot to sit down and read the NY times. My only regret is that they dont have matcha green tea lattes.

Happy people and a concept for both parents and children. I had good coffee, and my friend had a good soup with melted cheese. If you have kids, or not, if you are local, you should try Lark Coffee.

Good iced coffee and a very tasty egg-and-potato breakfast sandwich. Could have done without the toddlers chanting in the next room.
