First let me say i eat out A LOT & Im a HUGE food critic. The food here is unreal, atmosphere is awesome so homey and welcoming, the staff is upbeat and happy. Owners actually work in the establishment; they take your oder AND COOK it! They have such a passion and love for this establishment that it shows through the quality of food to the service of the customers. Theyre always smiling which makes it so inviting. They use such an awesome theme for this restaurant which really makes it a "Winner Winner chicken dinner" and even BIGGER PLUS, they are a BYOB! HIGHLY SUGGEST this place to anyone who likes or loves chicken or tater tots, or veggies or cheap good quality food with a wonderful staff and atmosphere! Five stars for sure.

The food is great. The concept is fabulous. However, the girl who works the front desk is miserable. Shes an egotistical, sad, hipster. She hates her job, and hates your record collection. I would have given the place five stars, but she really is that bad. I love the food but every time I go there I feel like Im being judged for not looking like Buddy Holly. You will be happy to be there, order your food, and she will quickly ruin your day.

Its Mission Burgers more attractive younger sister that you cant help but be attracted to. The food is fresh and as amazing as youd expect from these amazing chefs and restruanteers. The place is decorated fantastically, check out the bathroom too, its its own attraction. 5 star food on a budget. I could eat lunch there everyday, well everyother day because I also love Mission too, I dont want them to get jealous!

Fried chicken sandwich exceeded my expectations. The chicken was crunchy and the meat was juicy. I can tell they make their food with care. Their tater tots pushed the entire meal over the edge. The tots were homemade and it tasted wonderful. It was a very good complement to and already amazing chicken sandwich. Please give these folks a visit!

Expect nothing less than amazing from these owners (Thames Street Kitchen and Mission). Casual dinner spot specializing in fried chicken. Delicious and authentic: the best youre going to find outside of the south. The mac and cheese, picked veggies, and biscuits were equally impressive. Worth the walk to the end of Thames St.

I cant think of a time I had better chicken. They really know what they are doing here. The mac and cheese is to die for. Perfect serving size with the 2 piece combo and Mac and cheese. The choices in seasoning is unreal. My friend and I cant stop day dreaming about this place. Next time I am in Newport, I will be back!

This is the sister property to Mission. I was craving good fried chicken, and this hit the spot. The chicken has so much flavor and is juicy. They lose a star because the two sides I tried (mac n cheese and black eye peas) was not that good to me.

Well executed fried chicken, tasty biscuits with honey butter (yum!), tart picketed veg, home made mac n cheese, and creamy mashed potatoes, all for $25 including tip. Also appreciate the BYO. Will definitely be coming back whenever in town

Great restaurant. Fried chicken was tasty, crispy and delicious. Usually not a fan of chicken breast but they did it moist and tender. The owner has a great sense of humor definitely recommend to anyone who like fried chicken.

Excellent food, served by very attentive staff in a small dining room. Reservations are a must. Also, remember to BYOB, as there is no wine list. And finish with the chocolate chip cookies - straight out of the oven!

A limited menu that is crafted to perfection. Each thing is worth getting; from the chicken to the biscuits to the potato salad, nothing is cookie cutter and everything has its own unique flavor. 5 stars.
