I ate at this restaurant about 2 months ago. The food tasted good. The server packaged the left overs for us, and I ate them the following day at work. As I was eating the leftovers, still in the take out box, I began to choke on something. I had to pull out the object from my throat as I could not cough it up and it was very sharp and painful. I found that a 4" piece of steel wool had been in the food, and this is what I choked on. After going to the hospital to have the cuts in my throat examined, I went back to the restaurant and spoke with both the owner and the manager about the incident. I just wanted them to provide me with their insurance information, I did not ask for any money what so ever. I was treated extremely poorly and was told that since the incident did not happen at their restaurant, they were in no way to blame because I "clearly put the metal there". I was appalled at their accusation that I would try to set them up. I contacted the Department of Health, who did not fine them, as well as a lawyer. Unfortunately, the cost of the lawyer was too much, so I was unable to resolve this issue. I warn everyone, that this may happen to you. Had the restaurant appologized and even offered to pay for the meal, I would have been satisfied, but their blatent disrespect was not called for.

Very disappointed with our visit. I had heard good things about this place and decided to bring my grandson here for a nice sushi dinner on the last day of his visit. VERY POOR service - the place wasnt busy, so no excuse. Order was messed up - only one bowl of Miso Soup served. Full order was not delivered, but charged for. Dessert - fried ice cream was soggy and melted with no eating utensils. Eat ice cream with fingers? Asked for spoons - they never came. I finally asked for spoons at the bar. No light in the ladies rest room. Flip the switch, the fan turns on and every light - including the light on the light switch go out. Pitch black. Had to grope for the door. I wont return.

New management as of writing this review 8/6/16. The Experience from start to finish was excellent. The waiter and the chef didnt everything to make my wife my son and my mother feel very welcome. The chef got my son a Japanese soda and the show while he was making our food was very entertaining. Weve barely mentioned that it was my sons birthday and they came out and saying and gave him a birthday treat which was very nice. I would definitely go there again and recommend this place to all of my friends as well. We always had drinks and the staff there was extremely friendly and thoughtful.

Tried it a few times, both times getting various Hibachi meals. The Chicken Hibachi meal was ok, not a large portion by any means for 16.95. My other half had the same thing and we both had stomach issues within 30 minutes of leaving. Tried it one more time, this time getting a Veggie Hibachi 8.95 lunch special, and the portion was extremely small and was nothing special. Their rice is very good, and I hear their sushi is good as well. Portion size vs price/quality are my biggest cons of this restaurant. Service was fast and friendly.

Ever since they changed management, this place is awesome.. fantastic, excelle t tasting food. I love their sashimi, sushi. Excellent prices. I really recommend Kouzoku. After the server served us, he back away and bows, awesome. Very clean, excellent menu. We are back again, nothing negative to say. Best in town.... Love it... I dont know why a comment said portion size is small, they are wrong

We have been here 4 or 5 times and have always had a wonderful, fresh, well seasoned meal. The value is excellent. Yes it is smaller than Kotos in West Lebanon and much quieter but I love that about it. Its very intimate and quaint!!! Great for a party or celebrations with family!!! and the prices are much lower than Kotos!!! Check it out....youll be glad you did!!!

I have had hibachi in NJ, NY and NYC, RI, and CT, but this little place in NH is my favorite. The food has gotten even better with the new management. Our chef put on the most entertaining show Ive seen yet, and the prices continue to be reasonable. We love coming here everytime we visit family :)

Simple, yet refined. It doesnt push the annoying, overbearing flashiness so many other restraurants do, which makes this place very pleasing to go to. Great atmosphere, really good sushi, friendly and accodomadating staff.

Not a bad place just lacks any wow, ok food and good prices. Very quiet for a sat nite. We are used to Koto in Lebanon and tis doesnt compare sorry to say. Ok eats and stuff.
