Everything about the place is average: the food, the atmosphere. Nothing extraordinary. However, I must give it only one star because we were practically kicked out when the clock struck ten. We had ordered another drink not five minutes before. The waiter brought it, then dropped the check and hounded us until we paid. Another couple had only sat down to eat twenty minutes prior, and I could hear from across the room the waiter hounding them about the time and the customers responding in a very confused way.This wasnt a bar where legally people had to be finished with their drinks at closing time. This is a restaurant in which I dropped over $100 to be rudely kicked out. It wasnt even like we were overstaying our welcome, hanging around until midnight. It was five minutes after ten, the posted closing time! In restaurants, the closing time means they stop serving food then, but it doesnt mean I have to stop eating the food theyd already served me! Horrible service. I will never go there again.

I work on the Silas Deane and I am an avid sushi fan. There are a few on the strip and I like to mix it up between Ginza and another one up the road. Both are great but offer a few differences in the menus :) Today I chose Ginza for the Ginza Chef Roll and the Dirty Salad. Both are great! The portions are larger than expected. Everything tastes fresh. There was only one disappointment! I could not upgrade the salad/soup that came with the special roll to the dirty salad even though the price difference was only $3. Im not a big soup fan but I did not want two salads. In my opinion and from someone who ran a diner for 4 years, it shouldnt be trouble to eliminate something, add something in its place and have the person pay the cost difference (company is making out anyway mathematically). I just went with the soup so I could offer it to my coworker. But I would not eliminate a star for that since the food really is very good!

I came here last weekend with my boyfriend and I was blown away with everything. They had the freshest sushi I have ever tasted, and they also had alot of special fish that Ive never seen at any other restaurant. The server we had was extremely helpful and polite, and all of the food came out on time. I noticed they did a beautiful job designing the inside from the lighting to the art on the walls, everything was classy and modern. I was so pleased that I made a reservation for 20 people in January! I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys japanese cuisine.

Really liked this place. I used the yelp deal to get some money off my meal. We tried the Angry Dragon Roll (Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Tuna and Papaya. Wrapped in a Soy Nori. Topped with Spicy Kani and served with Ruta and Eel Sauce), Takoyaki (Japanese Fried Octopus Fritters, Topped with Spicy Yuzu Mayo, Sweet Soy Sauce and Bonito fish flakes). Both excellent. The decor is really nice and perfect for a date night. They also do the sushi at UConn Health Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can see myself coming back again.

We stopped in for happy hour a couple of weeks ago and sat at the cozy bar. The Zombie and Pomegranate Martini were quite good. The sushi rolls were fresh and melt in your mouth delicious! The prices were a great value for happy hour. Always a pleasure to visit as the staff is very friendly and welcoming! Ginza is our favorite restaurant by far! Do yourself a favor and check out this place.

We come here every Thursday night. Julie is our favorite waitress and Kevin is one of the best managers we have delt with! The rolls are fantastic ginza chef, angry dragon and crazy tuna are our favs. The seasoned edamame is to die for! The love boat is a work of art.... What can I say, we will be there next week!

This is the second time Ive taken my family to Feng II in Wetherfield, and this is the second time they have over charged me for my food. Make sure you check your bill! The food was fantastic as always. I eat at Feng in Hartford all the time and they have never over charged me.

We eat here a couple times a month and have always been happy. The service could be a bit better...some of the servers are better than others but nothing terrible. The sushi alwasy seems fresh and well prepared and tasty.

The absolute best sushi around and not too expensive. Very attentive, polite and kind staff !! I have tried every sushi restaurant in this area and ginza is hands down the best! Crazy tuna roll is my favorite!
