If youre cool with eating grocery store sushi at 5 star prices this is the place for you. This had to be the absolute worst sushi weve ever had in our lives, were open to trying new places in Chicago, LA, New York, etc so we can both say we can tell what good sushi should taste and look like. When youre at a 5 star hotel in Vegas I guess you assume that the restaurant would be worth the menu price, cutting edge, fresh and innovative. Please focus on the 1 star reviews, these are from people that have had the unfortunate experience of dining at this absolute trainwreck of a restaurant. Every single roll or piece of sushi we ordered was totally off, the crab tasted warm and fake, the yellowtail tasted lifeless, bland and warm and the $32 protein roll looked liked it was literally dumped out of a grocery store plastic container and on to a plate...plus the inside was filled with this absolutely revolting emulsified "fish product" that literally tasted like ketchup. Weve never sent a sushi roll back before but in almost 20 years of eating sushi this one was our first! Every other roll looked exactly the same, tiny little pieces that looked smushed down with black and white sesame seeds...all of it was cookie-cutter and disgusting....no roe, no crunch, no color, no pop, no flavor, no veggies inside, no sauce, no nothing....just bland everything with a high price tag. Our meal took us less than an hour, and had the cool price of $200...best of all we were immediately looking for a burger bar or pizza place the second we walked outside because we were both still hungry. The service was actually pretty decent, the sake we ordered was good (Winter Warrior) and the rock shrimp and sweet chili edamame apps were okay. But you expect the sushi and the rolls to be the star of the show, Id never go back to a steak place that had awesome mushrooms and terrible steaks. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT ever eat at this place...the Bellagio should be absolutely embarrassed this restaurant is part of its otherwise great hotel.

The sushi here is very good. Wonderful wait staff, very friendly and quick. Be prepared to wait even if you have a reservation. We had one, but it was 45 minutes of sitting at the bar before we were finally seated. The bar is nice, the bartenders busy (they serve the entire restaurant), but friendly. Prices are a tad high, but the sushi and ambiance pays for it. For those who want a romantic dinner - ask for the deck outside! There are four areas of this restaurant; a lounge style area that faces into the casino, the bar area which gives you the option to eat at the bar or at high chairs/tables across from the bar, the main dining room which is down 3 stairs from the bar, and then the deck which is on the water of the Bellagio fountain. Pro tip - looking for that ultimate romantic dinner? When you make your reservations - ask for the deck and request the last table farthest away from the door going to the deck. This is a two person table, nestled in the corner right on the water. You have no foot traffic of wait staff, and with the beautiful fountain going, you truly feel like you have your own private restaurant all to yourself. Get that outside seat. On a warm night, having the fountain show go off and feeling the light mist of water on you (youre than close!) is really magical.

Best place I have EVER been! The hostesses were beautiful and polite, and very accommodating. If you go there, request a patio seat so you can watch the fountain show, it was a great view. The server was amazing! He was very nice and professional, and yet he had so much personality! He made amazing recommendations and was attentive all night regardless of being very busy. Best waiter Ive ever had. The food was phenomenal! Everything tasted amazing, Ive never had anything like it. I was astounded. I tried a lot of things and everything was perfect. We had the house sake and a few different years of the Macallan scotch, both amazing. My favorite drink was the desert sake called Banzai Bunny. It was a sweet sparkling sake, a perfect finish to the meal. The music and atmosphere were perfect. Ive never enjoyed the music in a restaurant so much, it was mostly very ambient and relaxing, yet slightly up beat remixes of popular songs played at the perfect volume. The tables were set wonderfully and the entire restaurant was beautiful. The overall experience at this restaurant was wonderful, my boyfriend and I were both extremely impressed and will be back again! Thank you Yellowtail for the great experience!

VERY DISAPPOINTING FOOD QUALITY, PRICE AND SERVICE. Almost seems like it does not belong to the Bellagio. The "dynamite" Seafood dish was a mush of mostly canned corn, fried old shrimp and chewy leftover scallop pieces amalgamated in an overly sweetened mayonnaise. EXCEEDINGLY OVERPRICED at $32. For four small lumps of Kobe ribs, you pay $42. Each refill of Coca cola was $5. Very limited menu. Sushi is average and again, OVERPRICED at about $7-8 a PIECE. The Japanese yellowtail sashimi was tasteless and rubbery, for example. But lets talk about the worst service for an over-hyped restaurant where the decor cost needed to be made up in what you pay for bad food. Each dish came out within 20min of each other. Each person at my table waited and watched as the other person finished his meal. Waiter said he would bring our meals but never did. My second drink came at the end of my meal. After paying $250 for a meal that deserved $50 I MUST SAY THAT THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST DISAPPOINTING MEAL, EVER! If any person from management of Yellowtail sushi would like to discuss this further, I am happy to do so.

We went to Yellowtail on a whim before seeing "O". Im a vegetarian but I am obsessed with veggie sushi. Ive always been told you shouldnt be able to smell sushi. My husbands Shrimp Tempura literally stunk. I was afraid he might get sick after eating it. My veggie sushi was nothing special, it was just like the usual sushi in Fort Worth at my least favorite sushi restaurants. It was double the price ($14) and had no flavor and nothing special at all. It was really disappointing. I thought being at the Bellagio would have made it spectacular, but it really wasnt even that great. I think it was just really disappointing. The sushi at the Mirage was much better but still not like my favorite sushi restaurant in Fort Worth that is half the price. Very nice décor and I am sure that leasing the space is nothing short of expensive, but you still want delicious food and that was not delivered. The waiter was a great waiter though. Still, it wasnt fun signing the bill.

My husband and I ordered two kobe steak "entrees" for dinner plus alcoholic beverages. We were shocked when the plates arrived and the pureed potatoes amounted to approximately one tablespoon, with 3 tiny (two-inch long) pieces of asparagus. The steak was cooked to order. All the food was cold. Mine tasted good and was tender. His was tough as shoe leather. It was sent back. We waited another 30 minutes for a new steak for him. No tidbit was offered to him while he waited. The new plate finally arrived and it was tougher than the first one. Horrible! By then he was starving, but ended up leaving 3 fourths of it due to being inedible. This plate cost $45! The manager offered to take off half the price of his meal. The server asked if my husband wanted more taken off. After another 10 minutes of waiting, she finally came back and comped his meal. It was an awful experience and we wont be back.
