When we stayed at the JW Marriott in Summerlin for a conference in March, my husband and I decided to meet relatives for breakfast at the buffet. We got there before it opened. Since my husband has chronic leg pain and has difficulty walking, we sat on the benches outside of the buffet waiting for it to open. An early employee (perhaps the greeter or manager) came over to us and said, you cant sit here. You have to move. Go sit someplace else. I explained that we were waiting to meet someone and that we intended to have breakfast at the buffet. Her response, "Move to other benches; you cant sit on this side!" She was rude, her voice did not sound gentle or kind or welcoming. The employee was older (like us) and uncaring (not us). For the price of amenities at this hotel, we did not appreciate this gruffness. We moved and sat in a remote corner near the buffet until the rest of our party arrived. My husband has congestive heart failure and has extreme difficulty walking. Ill never forget this treatment. I am a world traveler and I do not expect to be spoken to this way in my own country. Absolutely unacceptable! If this was because of our race, I will NEVER return to this property--EVER!

We went over the weekand because we received a 2 for 1 buffet. We walked up and we were greated right away. Our server was Dixie, an older, very pleasant lady. She was an awesome server. She had our drinks to us in a timely manner, along with our refills. The buffet was clean and food was great. I couldnt stop eating the asian wings and mac n cheese. The salad bar was nice, it had a great selection of salad toppings and also salsas. The dessert was amazing. They had a person serving icecream cones to you and they had a nice selection of pastries as well. Will definetly go again. Its more of an older crowd there which I enjoy more since my wife and I are more old school and we are in ours early 30s.

Dried out food and overcooked, generally dirty and run down atmosphere, and we had to ask for drink refills (ice tea is not brewed). I had slightly higher expectations since this buffet was rated marginally better than the Feast buffet at Red Rock (which I also think is sub-standard). I cannot recommend the Rampart Buffet to anyone.

Went yesterday for dinner. Thought it was pretty good. Like any buffet, there were items that werent very good and other items that were above par. The black older guy that brought drinks and cleared dishes was very pleasant and did a fantastic job. Prime rib pretty good. Overall, good experience. Thanks.

Good buffet at a reasonable price. This is the only buffet in Vegas to find eggplant parmigiana, I think. I like it.
