First off, it was so humid and hot in the restaurant, which is uncomfortable for the guests and its not good for food to be overly warm- causes bacteria growth. Secondly, not that this is a huge deal, but their sign outside had spelling problems which doesnt look professional. Thirdly, the food was horrible- 100% horrible. The fried food had been sitting out for so long it was soggy, the chicken was fatty and limp- looking, the desserts were warm and stale and the lettuce to the salad bar was wilty. Customer service was lacking and very unprofessional. The service and overall restaurant was outdated and so petty. By petty I mean, they would charge you for the usual complimentary mints that come after dinner, and they had signs up saying "If you get food and waste it, we will charge you extra." Definitely not professional. It was me and my boyfriend, we both literally ate 5 bites and were disgusted. I asked for my money back and I understand why they refused because we did take bites of our food, but they charged me EXTRA money because i literally wasted a scoop of rice and 5 pieces of chicken because i didnt eat it due to it being gross. I dont know how they stay open if their food is that horrible. I would recommend people to go another Chinese buffet- go down the road and there are 2 that are very good and professional. Waste of time and money especially.

I would give it only half but you cant. Two words best describe our dinning experience...beyond horrible. There was hardly any food on this old smelly buffet. The food that was available was old, warm at beat, and not passing as authentic. I think that the folks that leave reviews here have never been out of the valley to truley experience authentic Asian food. I had taken my family here after reading a review anout " how good" the hot and sour soup was. Let me explain. Hot and sour should be hot and sour.... Not sweet with some heat. It almost tasted mollases based. Yuk.... Spend your money somewhere else if you are looking for good Chinese food. Trust me... If you dont like it they are going to make you pay for it anyway. After advising the food was sub par, warm, and the soups had a metallic after taste. They apologized and handed us the bill. We didnt eat but a couple of bites and paid for four meals. Sino must mean bad service or bad food I guess....

This incident occurred last summer, but was reminded about it today. I want to share why I would not eat there ever again just to save someone else. Dont get me wrong, the food is pretty good. Good selections and even sushi rolls. But thats where I must have gotten food poisoning. The next morning I had severe symptoms and couldnt make it to work. It lasted a whole week and I almost went to the hospital that it was so bad. In general I suggest being careful with any buffets, as they dont handle food properly most of the time.

Went here a long time ago and just never got around to reviewing it. This is a good buffet, probably the best Ive tried in Nampa. I heard good enough things about it that we were willing to drive out to Nampa to check it out. Selection wasnt quite what we were used to at the Boise Grand (see review), but the quality of the food and the atmosphere was better in a lot of ways. We enjoyed it immensely!

After reading the other two reviews we decided to visit. It was a cleaner version of your typical $9 Chinese buffet. The wait staff was clean and attentive, but the food was all luke warm at best. I am sure it had been out for several hours. The dessert bar was a mess and the only option was plain vanilla ice cream. It did not kill us, but we will not go back.

The food is good but If the damn hours are 11am to 10pm then why is it that at 8:55 all the food is put away and the place is closing??? Its happened more then once.. If the damn closing time is 10 then close at 10!!!! not 8:45 not 9 not 9:10 A whole hour ahead or even more then an hour and the restaurant is closed..Thats Bull Sh**t!!

When you say you open at 11am and dont have a single item to serve on the buffet. You deserve 1 star. Second time this happened to me. Last time I stayed and ate. By the time I was full on the poor selection there were only about ten for choices. Still charged full price for not ever half of the selection.

Sino buffet is an all around joke! Rude service & mediocre food! I would not recommend this place & certainly would not give it even 1 star! The waiter today as I left said I should be charged for my un-finished plate... really?? Your food is not worthy!! But threaten me to finish it or charge me more?

We frequent this restaurant often. We have been going here for 4 years now (almost every Saturday...the older our kids get, the more expensive, but we still will go there). The food is amazing! Nice salad bar. They also have a great selection of desserts and ice cream. Our kids love it there.

Dirty place! Food wasnt quality! Then trying to leave the guy refused to let us write a check or pay debit because their system was down. Tables never got cleared. Floors needed shampooed! Bathrooms needed cleaned and smelled. Plus the tables and chairs were sticky! Sushi didnt even have sea weed!

Usually call and put in a to go order to pick up on my way home from work. The food is always hot and fresh and this is the only Chinese place we go to. Love that I can get the buffet to go! Always tell everyone that this is the pave to go. Theyve never let me down!

Its the best in Nampa. The fried squid is good, as well as the chicken on a stick, fried green beans, crab bed stuff rangoon. It is nice that the food doesnt taste overly salty like some other buffets (golden corral, grand China buffet). Friendly staff.

That is not sushi! They hardly put anything in there and they only bring out a little bit at a time. The desert breads are all hard. My husband and I 28.00 to much for what they were offering.

Nice variety. Food Tasted great. Staff was very kind and helpful. Always made sure drinks were filled up and even brought us extra napkins right when we needed some to clean up the toddler.

I like the food. There is not a huge selection but its good. Not the best prices. There are better buffets in Boise for less but if you need to stay in Nampa its a good place to eat Chinese.

This is the best Chinese buffet in Canyon County. We have found 2 excellent buffets in Ada county but sadly all the other buffets in Canyon county do not keep their buffet tables as fresh.

Ive been coming here since I was 8 Im now 27 and the food is still my favorite. If I ever had a complaint I would say its not busy enough this place is truly a hidden gem in nampa.
